July 31, 2006, 2AM: Lost $625.00 at Rio, WSOP
Bonus

Took 5% of Sergio in the Main Event.  He did well and had a great chance at placing, solid disciplined player.

He started with 10K in chips, a bit past the dinner break he had about 33K with blinds of 200-400 50 ante.  Which is great for day one.  He could have quit there and been in great shape the next day.  But, you can't just quit, he pick up AA and is facing an early position raise.  He makes a stardard re-raise and the original raiser goes all in for about 25k.  He has to call and his AA gets cracked by some agro donk overplaying 88.  He is down to about 8k or so and struggles so survive.

He finds AQ in late position and runs into KK in the blinds.  Sounds like my typical day, lol.

Had his AA held up he would have had over 45k and looking really strong.

Next year!

July 30, 2006, 3AM: Played 1 hour, 48 minutes, Lost $15.00 at Ultimate Bet
$15 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (43rd out of 106 Players)

Took my AA UTG and raised, guy in late position called with J7s, he flop flush draw and can't lay down.  I bet the flop, then moved all in about twice the pot size on the turn and he called dead to his flush only.  He called and hit it, frustrating, but low limit tourny and relatively early so liked the chance to double.

July 30, 2006, 3AM: Played 3 hours, Made $120.00 at Ultimate Bet
$2 Pot-Limit Omaha

6 handed table.

Game plays really fast.  Not like a full table where the best hand is most likely out there.

This one guy at the table just auto pot bet pre flop then auto pot bet the flop.

Tough to play against but easy to trap.

I end up getting stuck $500 battling with him and him drawing out.  Finally get $200 in 3 way with the nut straight and top two re-draw, hit the top pair to make nut full and triple up to ahead.

Grinding another $100 ahead and lost most of it one hand, decided too much money was in action on a volitile table and quit.
