November 29, 2008, 5PM: Played 30 minutes at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

So I was down to my last 50 dollars and I had AK off suit when someone live strattled. I thought to myself this is my last hand (since I've gone broke with it the last 3 times I've lost). I raised to 21 hoping to get one caller. The big blind called and the live strattle called. I had 28 left and I was going to put it all in no matter what came out.
Bored came J 10 8 two clubs. First guy pushed all in, second folded and I called with two overs and praying for a queen for the nuts. Turn came a queen and I had the nut straight! Hoping for a no bad beat river, the river came another queen. I flipped over the straight and the guy flipped over Queen Jack for a full house! That was some bullshit! Seems like I can't win at The Village right now!

November 26, 2008, 6PM at Big T's (Tony) Home
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 13 Players)

Played a two table sit n go at Big T's home the day before Thanksgiving. Wanted to take a little break from The Village since I am down two days in a row. Thought Big T's home would be perfect to gain a little confidence back.
We played a 10 dollar buy in with multiple re-buys for the first hour and then a 10 dollar add on after the hour. I never had to re-buy but did add on. After a few hours of play I ended up knocking everyone out and coming in first. 200 was for first place and 70 for second. I now feel like a poker pro again!

November 24, 2008, 9PM: Played 3 hours at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Lost with AK again! Last hand I was down to 90 dollars. I limp from under the gun with AK off suit. This young guy that's a good player makes it 16 to go. Big blind calls and I thought about pushing. I was already on sick tilt due to the fact I was up 130 a few hands before and I let my stack crumble down...
I decided to smooth call because I didn't wanna get a call and lose a coin flip. Board came K 9 2. Big blind checked, I checked original raiser checked. Turn came a 5 and put a dimond draw out there. Big blind checked, I 15 with my beautiful top pair top kicker hoping to get a call. Orginal raiser smooth calls and Big blind folds. River comes a blank 8 and I fire 20. He raises me ALL IN and I quick call thinking I got the best hand for 40 dollars more. I mean Why wouldn't I? He flipped over pocket Kings and flopped top set! What are the odds the case king would come out! Why couldn't it have been an Ace and I win the pot and crack the kings....But damn AK has made me lose the last three times with it!

November 23, 2008, 10PM: Played 18 minutes at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I only played for about 20 minutes today. My last hand was AK of hearts in late position. We were four handed when the flop came out 89Q two hearts. The big blind (female) raised it 10 dollars. O smoothed called with the nut draw and two overs. The dealer button (Asian gambler) made it 25. Big blind called and I thought about pushing for a second, but i just called praying for a heart.
The turn came a 9 of heart. The Big blind checked, I checked and the dealer button guy raised all in. The female said all in also, and i called with only 65 dollars left with the nut flush. Sadly the board paired on the turn so I knew I had the Asian gambler beat but, I felt I was beat by the female but called anyways.
We flipped over our cards and sure enough she showed 89 giving her the full house. Me and the other guy both turned flushes and she turned the full house. Talk about a freaken action card!

November 22, 2008, 5PM at Big T's (Tony) Home
$60 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament

We had a 45 man, 5 table tourny at Big-T's home. Once we got to the last 7 people we chopped it. The person with the massive chip lead received 700 and the rest of us received 200. It was my idea and for a good reason. I was second to lowest in chips and only the top 5 got paid. Had a great time and ate great food!

November 21, 2008, 12AM: Played 4 hours at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Played for only four hours because I went so late at night. Lee was sitting with 2,000 behind! I was sitting directly to his left so I would always have last action on him.
Went card dead for over an hour. Finally won a big pot and took off! Hopefully I can start the streak again!

November 19, 2008, 9PM: Played 4 hours at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

=( I'm sad to say I did not win 10 times in a row! I had my first lost today. Talk about going card dead for over an hour.
My last hand was AK off suit on the Big Blind. Chino (degenerate gambler) who had already bought in over 6 times made it 10 dollars under then gun. He had two callers. Being card dead for over an hour and a half I pushed all in for 89 dollars total. I figured there was already 35 bucks in the pot that I wanted to take down there! Some sick guy called with pocket 8's! Being only 10 dollars invested he thought about it for a minute and called! Sick man! Well board came all low and he took it down. Even though I lost the coin flip I don't mind my all in move!

November 18, 2008, 9PM: Played 5 hours, 30 minutes at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Up 9 days in a row now! Can you say SEND IT! Was about even the whole night. At one point I was to my last 38 dollars and called two ALL IN's with pocket 5's. I was ready to go home and it was the first good hand I saw preflop in an hour! The other two did not hit there over cards and I tripled up.
About thirty minutes later I called a 7 way pot live strat from the button with the Helmeth's (pocket 9's). I flopped a set of 9s and played it just right. Turned 80 dollars into 245 dollars and left since it was 3am in the morning.

November 15, 2008, 1AM: Played 2 hours at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Eighth win in a row! Since I started playing so late in the night, I doubled up and left because it was already three in the morning.
