December 27, 2008, 9PM at Marco's condo
$0.50 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I haven't been playing live to much, due to playing a lot more on Full Tilt. I feel that I have the live pretty much locked down so I am trying to improve my online game. I have now moved up to the .50 cent 1 dollar limits. not bad since I started off at 5 10 cent.
We played at Marco's condo after the UFC fights. We had 11 of us playing. Out of the 11 I came up the most. It's funny that my c-bets make everyone fold. Like the great Patrick Antonius once said, "When I first started out playing poker online, I would raise preflop, c-bet flop, c-bet turn. Nobody would call. It was like there was free money in the pot everytime." Wow was he right. I started doing that and people fold a lot. That's exactly what I did at Marco's and I had all the young ladies folding to my bets. Weather I had it or not!

December 15, 2008, 10PM: Played 3 hours at Sycuan Casino
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Went to Syquan with Christian and Adrianna and came up 140! It was nice because within three hands I lost 100 when a guy flopped a set of 44 over my pocket KK. But I was able to catch pocket QQ twice and win with it twice. More then doubled up with it one hand. Called a 49 dollar all in with pocket 99 and they held up against his AK.
I also played Black Jack and turned 20 bucks into 60! Setting that aside for the poker roll too! I'm on a little roll here! I gotta keep it up!

December 13, 2008, 9PM at Marco's condo
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

We had a full table this time around! Ralph and Adrianna even came out to play. I made an awesome call on Mikey with Pocket six's when he went all in with an Ace high bluff. This is how the hand went.
Mikey raised to 3 dollars before the flop. I called with pocket 66. The board came 858 two hearts. He bet like 5 and I called. Turn came i believe a 9 which gave me a gut shot and I could of improved to a full house if a 8 or 6 came. Mikey bet 10 and I called with all my outs. On the river it came a Jack. He went all in for 21 dollars total. He had a huge tell that made me call him.
When I asked him if he really had it, he looked at his cards and said something like, "If you wanna see then call." But one if he really had it would he really look at his cards? He would most likely stay still and beg for a call. He looked back at his cards to what I believe was to intimidate me.
Then I began to replay the hand in my head and this was my thought pattern. Since he raised preflop I could put him on a few hands I believed he would of raised with since he is a tight preflop player. AA KK QQ JJ 10 10 or AK AQ AJ KQ.
Well if he would of had AA KK QQ JJ 1010 I believe he would of raised more on the turn due to possibility of me having a huge drawing hand due to the straight and flush draw borad.  So I felt I could still possibly be good, cause I no longer put him on those hands.
So my next set of hands I put him on was AK AQ AJ or KQ. Possibly two hearts to go along with it maybe betting overs and his flush draw. Since river was non heart I thought he might of missed his heart draw. So after the 9 different hands I put him raising with preflop I concluded he could possibly have me beat with Ace Jack. Cause the Jack came on the river.
But on the river when he went all in I flipped over my pocket 6s and asked them if they were good and he said something like, "Call and you will see." Trying to pretend he was begging for a call." Then I asked him if he had it and he looked at his cards then at the board. If he really had it, why would he look! Then his second tell was where his eyes stared at the board. They starred at the flop! A huge tell on people is when they "Have it" they stare at the card that made there hand. But he didn't even glance at the river Jack. He stared at the flop. So I was 95 percent sure he did not hold a Jack in his two hole cards.
Then the last thing that gave me almost 100 percent belief that he was bluffing, is when I was thinking to call or not. He blurped out, "And if you dont call I wont show". Right when he said this I knew he was bluffing and called. He mucked. Later I found out he had A 6. Raising out of position with a weak Ace. Talking about being on tilt cause it was his third buy-in.
How Joe Navarro said, "People are more likely to bluff when they're down, they want to get even." I knew mike was tilting with his third buy in!
Joe Navarro also said, "It's human nature to want to check the river with a good hand, due to the fear of being raised and having to fold." If Mike was betting a flush draw and rivered his Jack he would of most likely checked due to me smooth calling him preflop flop turn. He did not know what I had and could of easily had been trapping with a monster. Plus I knew it was the last 20 bucks he had on him and still wanted to play. He didn't wanna go broke with how Joe Navarro would describe as a "Good hand" like a river pair of Jacks. He could of easily have been beat, so he would of checked called with AJ.
The other funny part of the night is when Mercado was already down 60 bucks. He bought back in for 20 dollars and was on extreme tilt how he has been lately. He kept going all in pre-flop. Finally his sister made a stand with KJ and called Christian's all in of about 30 dollars. Chrsitian flipped over 10 7 of hearts. What a sicko! After his sis won he cried to her about calling. Nobody wanted to hear that guy bitch after he was playing like a super donk tilting going all in 80 percent of the hands preflop!
Then the kid went on SUPER TILT and bought in for 100! Due to his negative state of mind on his sisters call and being down 80 I knew he was going to go on even bigger Tilt. That 100 dollars was dead money. Once it got down to Marco, Christian and I, Christian had check raised me ALL IN when there were like 10 dollar pots out there. He had about 75 behind and knew unless I had a really big hand he would fold. So I thought with his wreak less play its only a matter of time before I catch him. Knowing I would have him beat and would only lose if he would draw out on me.
Sitting on the Big blind I had 10 10. Marco limped in from the dealer button and christian just smoothed called so I popped it to 3 dollars hoping only Christian would call. Marco had position on me so I really didn't want him to call and wanted to play heads up. Christian was calling almost every single one of my preflop raises with any two cards. So I thought he would call. Sure enough he called.
Board came 9 10 9 and christian checked. I flopped a full house and was praying to God Christian would think I was bluffing. The pot was now at 6.50. So I made a little 2 dollar c-bet under betting it to look like your bluffing (learned that from the great and very controversial Phil Helmuth) hoping your opponent goes over the top. It worked perfect! Not only did Christian go over the top, but he went all in for like 60 more! LOL LOL on a 8.50 pot! Made him go down 180 at a .25 .50 game. Maybe he wont go on such Tilt and play wreak less like that again. Pushing with 2 4 offsuit on a 9 10 9 board!
After the hand he went nuts and I gave him 20 bucks to calm the kid down! LOL!

I was up to around 250 at one point. By the time Christian and I left, I only had 11 dollars profit. It was still tight playing at Barona though. I even got to buy a donkey toy off a lady!

December 1, 2008, 5PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes at The Village Club
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Well big hand of the night was when I was sitting with pocket Queens 175 behind. There was a live strattle and had one smooth caller. In middle position I raised to 20 dollars hoping to get two callers that I had position on. Small blind called and big blind went all in for 225 total.
I looked down at my hand and felt sick to my stomach based on the fact that I have been losing coin flips the last few times I've played there. I still had around 150 behind. I figured he might have AK or a smaller pocket pair. I was actually thinking about folding. But I told him, "Man I have a really high pocket pair". He started breathing even harder as if he was uncomfortable with his hand. Based on his reaction of breathing pattern I put him on a smaller pair. AK at best and we were at a coin flip which I was ahead plus, plus there was already 52 dollars in the pot before his push.
Taking all this into consideration I had to call. The way he was breathing and look on his face when I said high pocket pair, made me feel he did not have Kings or Aces. I made the call and he flipped over pocket jacks and I flipped over pocket queens. Thank God he didn't have AK because an Ace flopped.
I won that hand and took off with a good amount of winnings for the night. It was nice to finally break the Village club down three nights in a row streak. Oh and I didn't get AK once. That's probably why I won...
