July 31, 2006, 11AM: Played 4 hours, Made $185.00 at Jackson Rancheria
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

I played very very well, I couldn't be happier with my performance.  I bought in for $50, and was screwing around.  After playing a couple pots dark on my blinds, and winning, I decided to raise dark around back.  I got called and re-raised, so I had to look at my cards.  I looked down at AA and moved all in.  I got called by all 3 players and lost to a K hi flush that hit on he turn.  I even had the flush card to try and hit on the river, but missed the nuts. Then a buddy passed me $20, and I lost it moving in w/ 88 and 2 over caught on me.  So i bought in for another $25 just for fun.  When Tracy told me to play well, and be patient, I took her up on it.  I did what I could to play good poker, and soon enough I doubled up.  After sitting on about $40, tracy told me she was going to be there for a few more hours and I needed to stay with her, so I decided that I would stay until either 3:00 or I had $250 in front of me.  I played very very good poker, even calling down a good player on the read he was bluffing.  he had pocket 3's and I had bottom pair of 4's.  I KNEW he didn't have one of the over cards.  Best part of my play was recovering from going on titlt.  when I was getting close to 3:00 i had about $160-$190 in front of me and bluffed at the wrong time, got called and it cost me $30-$40.  I wasn't as pissed about the money as I was that it was my own STUPID decision to put that money in the pot.  I got over it and played some more good poker, won a couple good pots in my last round of cards, and got up befor emy big blind after making a good laydown underthe gun, after raising preflop, i made the preflop laydown.  I couldn't be happier with the way I played and my success in the cash game.

July 31, 2006, 10AM: Played 1 hour, Lost $55.00 at Jackson Rancheria
$25 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (26th out of 44 Players)

Saw 2 playable hands in the whole hour! Pocket 10's first round i folded prelop, which was the right fold after a re-raise and an all-in on top of my under the gun raise.  Saw AQ and puched all in preflop, got called by AK and lost when a K fell.

July 28, 2006, 4AM: Played 30 minutes, Made $20.00 at Jackson Rancheria
$50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

After losing my ass and dumping $ to the rake playing $1/$2 heads up, I played the same guy heads up I had trouble beleiveing I couldn't beat this guy.  We played heads up sit'g'go, and I won, was in for $60, take out $100, and tip $10 to dealer for tourny, and $10 for cash game before.

July 27, 2006, 11PM: Played 5 hours, Lost $500.00 at Jackson Rancheria
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Played in the cash game for way to long.  Bought in for $50, was up to around $250, and pissed it away on a bluff.  I let myself go on tilt and just made poorer and poorer decisions all night.  I should have stopped after about 2 hours but I didn't.  This was a really expensive lesson and left a VERY sour taste in my mouth.

$25 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (16th out of 38 Players)

Played really well, picked teh right spots to gamble, things just didn't fall into place for me.  I was chip leader going to break after round 3, then couldn't win an all-in!

July 25, 2006, 2AM: Played 6 hours, Made $120.00 at Jackson Rancheria
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Played really solid all night, but it wasn't untill i started gambling that i made my money back.  I think this is a good indication that in order for my cash game style to be effetive i need to be willing to gamble!

July 22, 2006, 7PM: Played 6 hours, 30 minutes, Made $700.00 at My House
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Played very well and was running pretty good.  Sat with a large stack for quite a while and managed it, overall VERY happy.  makes me feel like I can play like this with this kind of profit consistantly.  Didn't do anyting stupid or have any bad beats, although I dished one out to Tony for about $80, called w/ top pair vs. his bottom 2, and caught my set onther river.

July 20, 2006, 11AM: Played 9 hours, Lost $75.00 at Jackson Racnheria
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Bought in for $50 3 times, played well overall.  Got lucky w/ JJ and flopped a J and turned a J, quadroupled up.  Played up to around $250 then just couldn't hold on to it, ended up sitting around $100 most ofthe day, just decied to leave, I had been there long enough and my stack wasn't getting nay bigger.  I set 8pm as my quitting time and stuck to it.

$50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (28th out of 28 Players)

Can't feel bad for how I played, just got stuck in the wrong spot.  Had AA, and put all my money in with a K high flop, my opponent flopped a set, end of story.
