March 25, 2007, 6PM: Played 1 hour, Made $77.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (8 Players)

Fun little tournament that I jumped into after work.  There was only one tight player in the tournament that I was watching out for.  I just played very aggressive and got lots of chips quick.

March 17, 2007, 6PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $33.00 at Big Daddy's
$100 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 20 Players)

This was a doubles tournament where I played with the intimidator (Craig).  We had a lot of fun...the talent was pretty good, and a couple of lucky teams squeezed threw to the final five.

Craig played VERY well.  He made a small mistake late, where he should have made a continuation bet on the flop after he re popped it preflop.  It wasn't that bad though, because it was my turn to play and use these bitches.

The only team I was really looking out for was a couple of co-workers that had a good chip stack.  I had a one run with them where I flopped top pair, but I am PRETTY sure my opponent flopped trips.  I made the lay down and moved on.

The great thing, was the donkeys to my right were very weak and drinking.  I received wired 8's and they made a he made a pretty small raise.  They were running hot and I didn't want to mess with them.  But, I did....it was too good to be true.  I ask him straight out if he had a pair and he told me no.  Huh...ok, I guess I have to take the race.  He turned over KJ and I doubled up.

When we got down to 5, we could sit next to our partner and collude.  It was great, the team on our left was giving away everything, and we really took advantage of that.  So, we missed a few flops and got called down with shit a few times and couldn't pull it off.  This, much fun and a good experience for Craig!

March 15, 2007, 7PM: Played 5 minutes, Made $16.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Jumped in the game after bossman had a bad run of cards.  I got one hand and then the game filled up.  Cinderella story!

March 11, 2007, 10PM: Played 4 hours, Lost $40.00 at Hooter's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Jesse and I went to goof around and blow off some steam.  We were playing reckless and goofing around with the players.  Considering my style of play, I will take the 40 loss.

March 9, 2007, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $200.00 at Lilac Lanes
$2-$10 Spread-Limit Texas Hold'em

Just hopped in to play a few hands before heading home.  Good game, easy to read.  Nothing special.

March 5, 2007, 7PM: Played 50 minutes, Made $63.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Got off the clock.  My chips dwindled down to nothing, went all in in the dark and won.  Built my stack up with AQ.  Flopped QQ5, turn an A river blank.  Had pocket kings and a flush trapped in the pot.  Got even from that pot, then played 23 suited and hit a flush for a decent pot.

March 5, 2007, 5PM: Played 20 minutes, Lost $23.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Jumped in the game to help get it fired back up.  Nothing big.  Game filled up and I got off the clock.

March 3, 2007, 9PM: Played 20 minutes, Lost $50.00 at Big Daddy's
Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (12th out of 13 Players)

This was a free roll tournament that you got in to by playing so many hours of live.  I ran into 77 that caught quads.

I took the add-on....even though it was not worth it, just to juice up the pot a bit, and what happens again? I lose to 77 hitting quads again.  What are the odds of that?

March 2, 2007, 7PM: Played 6 hours, Made $215.00 at Big Daddy's
$5/10 Texas Hold'em

What an interesting night of poker.  Let us just say that there was an eclectic group of people in the game and it came an at interesting time in some peoples lives.

This was a 5-10 with a full kill to 10-20.  I got the best seat in the house, in front of an agro preflop raiser, and a guy that played a lot of hands.  The agro player I knew very well, and could isolate him quickly to better read him.  It was effective several times, and most of my chips came from him.

The weird thing was, was that Jesse and I were both in an interesting mood last night.  I was dealing with too much conversation about politics, the law and other situations.  I put on my headphones to get rid of the constant battle that I play with the annoyance of people squacking about stuff that just should not be talked about at a poker table.

Jesse was just having a bad night all together, coming off of chips quickly and psychologically breaking down.  The tough part was, the more he played, the less players we had.  That means I had to get tangled with him a couple times.  I did get lucky a few times out flopping him, and so was everyone else.

It was a tough task to try to win in this game and dodge Jesse who was trying to get even.  I love playing in a game with Jesse.  We can read each other like a book...I know what he is thinking, he knows what I am thinking just by a look.  But, shorthanded games are tough when one of you was stuck.

The game has promise though, and I think will be a good addition to our Friday night lineup.  I had fun, but the session was too long for me, and it was painful to see some of the things that went down with other players.

March 1, 2007, 8PM: Played 1 hour, 15 minutes, Made $4.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

The game got short at the end of my shift, so I thought I would jump in and help keep it going for the night crew.  Things went fine...fun and easy game...couple of loose ones to look out for.  Just played solid till my ride showed up.
