$0.25/0.50 Omaha

just too tired.  finally was back down to about even so I sent back the money i was in online before I donked it all off.  I really am far too quick to get it in when I am tired, and this job isn't getting any slower.  plus I quit walking my buddy's dog, when I have money online I am constantly playing, it's not good for me, need a break.

July 30, 2009, 7PM: Played 2 hours, 17 minutes, Lost $197.30 at full tilt
$0.25/0.50 Omaha

this session was all donkey all the time.  I was totally exhausted from work, never should've started an knew better, but like a donk.  Anyway, I start off horrible, losing a cap pot with AA vs 2 4 5 8.  That sets me kinda off and I just start playing way too many hands.  After getting stuck 100 I am down 40 and have the get even pot in my sights, total wrap for about 80 bucks and I miss it, so then I lose my focus again, combined with a real shitty run and these are the results.  Last week of work tubed off.  More than I made in affiliate as well, what a shame to be so stupid and tired.

pretty easy pickings really.  I just kinda sat there and tried to wait for some monsters.  most of this win came from my picking up A A xx double suited, opponent woke up with 9987 double suited, flop A 2 3 turn 9 to give me the one card out sweat, but that was enough to get me winner.

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

was up maybe another 30, but obviously a great session.  I really just got lucky early to be a little winner which led me to maybe play bad in a big pot, but you can gamble with sugar right.  I have something like A J 9 8, don't recall exactly, it's raised preflop to 2 I call, guy makes it about 8 or so, the whole world calls, I am in the cutoff, repop is button.  comes total brick flop, J 6 4 with two hearts, I am ready to concede the hand, it's checked around to the bettor, everyone else folds to me, he was actually all in for not too big a bet I realize, like 9 bucks, there was 40 in there already, I even type in I know I am bad here, but I gotta stab at it, he rolls over AA45 no flush draw, so I have decent outs and spike the 9 right on the turn for 58 bucks.  I went on the heat from there and had a great session!

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

wow, I am a sick sick man.  I ran too awful early and got stuck huge, down about 106 at peak.  Then I hit two miracles back to back.  I just sat down at this table with plenty of action.  First hand I play I have trash on the button, something like AQ109, it's raised to 2, I love position I call.  Flop is Q 8 6 rainbow, so double gutter top pair.  It's bet like 4 bucks I call, comes back around check raised to 12 or something, eh fuck it, I am stuck, bad play, I agree, 3 way pot and I spike the 7 on the river for the nuts, 55 buck pot.  Very next hand I have AAxx double suited.  It's raised to 2 in front of me, I pot it to 6 and get 3 callers.  Flop is K 7 6 rainbow, first guy caps it off at 14, next guy calls, I have a K as well and two runner runner flush draws, I call as well.  Amazingly everyone has middle str. draws and only 1 has a pair, which is 6's, turn J river 7, aces up are good for 77 more and I am out of the hole, thank god! I was running bad early, then got lucky playing fairly bad, although both of those plays weren't THAT bad, still not my normal game.  I press to much when stuck still for sure.

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

here's a lovely gotta be rare occurrence.  I get AA double suited twice, both times I get a fool with KK, both times they make quads.

had another time where I flop a set vs. AA only on flop and he gets it in with me and goes runner runner flush, had a guy with a set and two pair on the K J 10 flop against my A Q find like the case board pair on the river, and finally one annoying hand I hate seeing, I have 2 2 4 4 double suited, flop is A 7 2 with 2 hearts which I have for defense more than wanting to hit it, I pot it and get shoved in by the naked nut flush draw, of course it peels right off for the fool.

having bitched about all that, I thought I played very well this session.  didn't tilt ever and hung tough and still managed to win.  I would guess the total amounts of those five pots was 200 or more, could've had a nice session pretty easily!

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

could just smell this session from the beginning.  the types of tables I have been running smooth at are 6 handed 20 buck cap, so there weren't any open so I played some NL hold em for a few while I was on lists.  right off the bat I pick up JJ and after a 10 8 2 flop I find myself facing an all in bet, I call it, guy has A 9, turn J river Q.  so I am thinking here we go, and once I got in omaha was about the same.  Couldn't get a guy to lay his flush draw down when I made a big turn bet, for a decent pot, another time I didn't have the discipline to lay down top two vs. bottom set, so that's on me.  Another time I had this ramming donkey right where I wanted him, but the third person in the pot made me a bit gunshy so I folded to a decent sized bet and found out I was pretty much dominant with AK top two. glad I quit while I am still close to my get even mark on here, stuck about 30 bucks overall again now, but limiting my losing days instead of tubing yesterdays big win back is at least something.

July 25, 2009, 11PM:
full tilt poker

well I my grinding has finally been rewarded, after being stuck 500 and having nothing left of it in the middle of last month I got my affiliate back and have managed to finally get winner today.  I took such sick disgusting beats last month, when I finally lost the last of it I sent a scathing email to support bitching about how rigged their site is.  Now this month I haven't run into the sick hands that force me to lose money anywhere near as much.  Since I view this as just kinda thinking out loud I have to wonder if there is some way they manipulate accounts and such.  I read a couple other people logging on here about the same type of bullshit that I have been whining about for a while, so I know it's not just me that thinks this stuff.  I guess it's nice to be winner, but one has to wonder if it really has much to do with one's play or if the site just says well we better not piss this person off too bad.  I mentioned in my last log I try to make player notes on everyone, when I do that I especially log ridiculous beats and if they happen to the same person I just stop playing with them, way too easy to have some rigged BS going on that site.

well, I started really slow actually, was down 50 it seemed like right when I sat down, but didnt panic for once, just waited and did very well.  one thing I noticed that has helped me a ton is making players notes on people.  I try to find my donkeys and get in the game with them.  There are about 10 I can really count on so far to get some action going with, guys that ram draws hard and such, I think that helps my patience knowing I have these clowns that will pay me eventually.

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

was up like the 3rd hand I played 40 bucks, had the nuts against 2 donkeys.  was up to 120 winner at the peak, hitting tons of nut flushes and such, and it was probably a good hour or more before I quit, then just kinda hit a run of crap and basically blinded away the 30 I came off, but a very nice lick none the less.
