May 16, 2007, 6PM: Played 30 minutes, Made $14.55 at bwin.com
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Took a short session, only like 30minutes. Reluctanly checkcalled a big riverbet with AK only to find my opponent on a stone cold bluff. GG

AAAah! I'm relieved. Played a session, even when I knew I was too tired...shouldn't have done it, but it turned out good anyway. It was a real struggle, and I made some Phil Helmuth speakes to myself after getting outdrawn again and again. With KK I bet pot every single streat, and when hitting an ace on the river the AK-donk insisted he had pot-odds to call all the way even without a nutflush draw...ok.

Finished off the session cracking some aces with my 77.
Looking back at that terrible previous session I think I learned a lot from it. Until I'm able to control my tilt better, I'll have to set up certain "rules" for the session. I should probably have some kind of "stop-loss" when I'm down $30-40 in a session.

I also have a tendency to stick it all in on the river when I'm calling a bet and it leaves only a tiny bit of money behind in my stack. Unless I'm very confident I'm holding the best hand, I must start flat-calling their river-bets. The small amount I'll save on that strategy surely will add up to a significant number in the long run.

Not in the mood to comment. Hit with AK and got sucked into calling a guy with trips, losing $50 in one single pot. Bad bad bad bad play. Was up early in the session, then I took some terrible "beats" in the end, and I'm just glad I quit as early as I did. Why must I allways pay off these tight morons?!?!?!??!??????????????? AAAAAARGH!.....aaaaaaaaaargh! :(

May 14, 2007, 2PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $34.45 at bwin.com
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Anyther win. Again I forgot to take note of how long I played, but it must have been 90mins +/-.

As usual very aggressive, raising all suited connected cards in position, especially when passive players were in the blinds. I changed tables alot, because when I had to start showing down some hands, people started calling me more often.

I could have made alot in one situation. I tripple bigblind with pocket 33, shortstack moves all in for 9,5 bigblinds, and a rock solid bigstack smoothcalls on the button. I got really paranoid and decided to fold, even if I got the odds. It turned out that the button held only KQs, and the board came QQ3XX. Folding low pocketpairs there is kinda right decision, cause I know I'm at best up against four overcards, but in cashgames it is worth having a look even though I basically have only two outs...

I lost only one big pot. I got in the middle of a pre-flop raising war, and was allways priced in to call with my 78s. The flop came KK7, but no flushdraw for my 78s. I called one guy who bet out 2/3 pot. On turn he bet 1/2 pot with a blank card comming off. The river was another King, and it now was 3 kings on the board. Then he bet the same amount as on turn. I put him on a bad, rookie bluff, or QQ JJ. I had terrific odds to look him up, so I did, and he held QQ. Looking back at this, I shouldn't have even called the flop, because like I said, these two guys were having a preflop raising war, and one of the was likely to hold AA-TT.

May 13, 2007, 4PM: Played 1 hour, Made $37.00 at bwin.com
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Winning again. Not sure how long I played. 60-90minutes.

Made some sick calls with low pocketpairs against obvious bluffs at the river. I rubbed it into a bully in the chat, and he later donked all his stack off to me when I had flopped the nut flush.

Does anyone have a clue when it's time for me to move up to .50/1 cash game? I'm currently playing .25/.50 and my bwin-roll is slightly above $900.

By the way, I have no decided to go on interrail in Europe from 27th of May. I'm worried I'll go nuts without poker!

May 13, 2007, 1PM: Played 1 hour, Made $35.00 at bwin.com
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Third winning session in a row. Won 35 dollars +/- some cents in approx one hour of play. Two-tabling .25/.50 6-max tables.

Great fun. I'm amazed what flow I'm in. I could have won even more, but when I'm not sure if I have the best hand on the river, I tend to check it down, causing me perhaps to "lose" some dollars here and there.

GG!

$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Oh yeah! I'm loving it.
Got off to a great start, going up quickly. Won two huge pots right before I logged off. The interesting thing about these were that they only got big because of my loose image. I held QJ and flopped QJJ, so I had the second nuts all the way. Anyway, I kept betting pot and this AK guy payed me off all the way to the river.

Think maybe I played a bit too long, and was just lucky to get those two last pots. Felt pretty sleepy and unsharp the last hour.. I will probably try to stick to one hour sessions from now on...

LOL!

Played cash game for the first time in a very long time. Two-tabled a 6-max .25/.50 game.

Sat in with $40 at each table, and had no expectations at all.
I quicky saw there was much dead money here, so I started opening up all the pots with marginal hands. I got very lucky hitting my draws with my continuation bets, and I even made quads once.

Very pleased to knock my totalt win/loss up to about zero now. I had fun playing, but decided to sit out while I still had a good experience and had won a good amount. I won $35 +/- a couple of cents.

May 8, 2007, 7PM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $3.30 at PokerStars
$3.30 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (733rd out of 2444 Players)

GG.

$3 re-buy 20k guaranteed.

had 2.8k after rebuyperiod. Won races and picked good cards to get me up to 20k. Then the Pokergods started turning against me. Lost with JJ against a shortstacked QQ. He had been playing ultra-tight, so I knew it was a coinflip at best, but I had the odds after making a pre-flop raise. I also let a huge bully semi-bluff me out of a couple of big pots, but that's what I get from being passive...
I also was very unforunate with my lay-downs. I laid down TT UTG+1 when UTG opened up with 4x BB with 99. I also got raised and re-raised out of a hand holding pocketpair in the bigblind when I would have made quads and sets on the flop...

Ended up going out holding jacks against AKo. Can't I ever win a race with my tournament-life on the line?
