$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I buy in for 300 some guy calls 200with one card to come on the flush draw, no odds ther is 75 in the pot, jackass hits. Ok rebuy 100 dwindle away to nothing Rebuy 500 and change my game up a bit finally get to the main table and I take my time just trying to watch the table for the first few rounds, then Santa Claus sits down with about 200 in chips, he gets very lucky on some big hands and is up to about 1500, I am so waiting for my turn to be in a pot with him becase he is continuing to pay people off with king high or bottom pair. The one pot I finally become involved in he actually has a hand...... I did evd up doing ok for the night and felt better about my play at the end and was happy to finally have an up night after the last few, they start to wear you down a bit did not like playing til 4 was very tired at the end but did not go til late, I think I do much better when I play earlier and leave early. Santa did give most a few players some very nice gifts, I was just not in any of those pots when I left he was down to 100

January 10, 2007, 5PM: Played 12 hours, Lost $700.00
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

This was a crazy night was continually drawn out on another night of having my money in with the best hand and then some jackass calling on draws and sucking out, unreal how many hands this happened on. I guess I need to remeber when this starts to happen to take a break from the table or get up and just leave for the night but it has been hard for me to do that when I am getting great cards that are matching the flop, I did have a 3 hour period where I was not getting anything and then it started to change and I came back up then only to have the cycle start over again of the suck outs, so is poker and I know that I have for sure sucked out before but the number of one outers that happened was sick......

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Interesting night, I did not really feel like playing and was not feeling well but I went anyway, Sat down at the feeder game first and was just not getting any cards was down about 250, moved to the main game and waited and waited, finally picked up pocket 10's and I guess they looked like Aces to me, I raised pre flop and was reraised, I went all in and got called by AJ and right there on the flop a pretty A for the guy, owell we were in a race anyway should have listened to my gut.......

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

This was a good night for me I had some great starting hands that actually matched the flop and did not get sucked out on, I played solid tonight and took my time with my hands. Played more aggressive than I usually do and they may have helped me to switch my game up. Most of the usuals came in to play around 5.30p which was when I started to switch my game and I think it payed off well tonight. There was some easy money on the table earlier and was able to take advantage of that too.

nice 2 hour run, one guy did try to bluff me on the river,I had put him on AQ pre flop, I have 9,10 the flop come 10K5 I check he only bet 35, I call we both check the turn and the K pairs on the river, I check he bets 120, I call with second pair and he has AJ, so close in my read. Few hand later I turn the nut flush and the table is betting and raising before it even gets to me (i love this game) I reraise when it gets to me and I actually get re-raised one more time, Action back to me I go all in and everyone folds, dont want to see the river just in case the board pairs, may have been able to make more but quite happy with the pot. This was a nice 2 hours for me. Most of my reads were accurate even when I was not in the hand.

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Wow what a night, it is amazing that I still walked out winning tonight with the bad beats I took. First had worked very hard and built my chip stack up over 1300. I get 77 no raise preflop, flop comes 5c7dAd great flop except I dont like the flush draw only about 30 in the pot so I bet 30 thinking if the flush comes on the turn I can get off my hand for cheap. I get raised and re-raised to to $250, i automatically think the guy who made the first raise is on a flush draw and the re-raise is on pocket 5's, I go all in for 800 the flush draw folds. I am right and the all in for 250 has 55 the board comes runner runner diamonds and yes the pocket 5s is holding the 5d. Second A10 off raised 30 preflop I call along with 5 others the flop come AsQc10s, good flop for me except that there is a flush draw I make it 55 get raised to 110 and then a guy goes all in for 160, I just call the reraiser and so does the first guy the turn is a 10 yippeeeee, I put the all in on a flush draw and I want to make a side pot the other guy only has 200 let I bet 200 he folds, He had flopped a straight, the other guy was not on a flush draw but had AQ and I lose to a bigger full house! Third QQ on the button make it 30 to go 4 callers. I see the dealer laying the cards out and th first one I see is Qh very nice I have flopped top set, however the other 2 cards are Jh8H so not only is the flush on the board there is a straight, everyone checks I make it 60 to go to see where I am at I get 2 calls the turn is the 9s now guy bets 250, I lay down my set, I guess it could have cost me more the other guy called he had pocket 8 and flopped a set too of course the better had the straight....... what a night

January 2, 2007, 8PM: Played 7 hours, Made $420.00
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

was at feeder table for a while and could not wait to get to main game, there was about 20k on the table and some very big pots flying around. Sat down at the main table with only about 180 and cashed out 720 had bought in the game for 300 was able to double up and just waited for solid hands the table was very much willing to pay you off for good hands. One guy tried to bluff me out of a pot with a raise and then a big bet on the river, I felt like he was on a draw and missed, took me a minute to call but I did he just mucked his hand and said good call. Nice pay off on that pot.He had flopped open ended and I had top pair with a good kicker on the flop over card came on the river and I was a little intimidated by that card but still felt my hand was strong. This night was very good for my game and mental strategy.
