May 11, 2006, 3PM: Played 22 minutes, Lost $11.00 at PP
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (660th out of 829 Players)

Had a crack addict on my right who either had the nuts or nothing, but bet anyway.  Most of the time when he had nothing, it turned into something.  I was going to hang out and see what I could do, but decided to see if I could win a race against him early to chip up.  I didn't, but at least I didn't suffer the slow death that drives me nuts.

May 9, 2006, 8PM: Played 30 minutes, Lost $11.00 at PP
$10 Buy-In Pot-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (6th out of 10 Players)

Card dead, crippled myself early on a bluff, but came back the respectablity.  Played a 76c for my first hand in two orbits.  I raise to 2.5x bb sb reraises me all in with another player inbetween us.  Getting about 7:1 so I figured I would try it.  sb had AA and they held up.  It is tough for me to be that patient in a 1 table sit n go.  The blinds go up so quickly, but when you get no cards all tourney you have to make a stand with some marginal hands.

$5 Buy-In Texas Hold'em Tournament (32nd out of 50 Players)

Played well, flopped top two and flush got me on the turn then flopped top pair and got called down for runner runner flush.  I am playing pretty well, just getting unlucky.  In every tourney today I have gotten my chips in with the best of it and come out on the losing end.  It will turn some time.

May 8, 2006, 10AM: Played 14 minutes, Lost $6.00 at PP
$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (16th out of 20 Players)

QQ on the button with 3 limpers, I make it 5x get 2 callers and the cutoff goes all in, I call and get 2 more callers, the hands I am up against: KJo, AQo, and AJo.  The ace flops and I am done.  Should I have folded preflop? I am questioning what it takes to win these NLH tourneys.  Maybe I should avoid playing the first 4 rounds all together.  I already decided not to play anything other than AA and KK in early position. AARRRGGHHHHH

$5 Buy-In Texas Hold'em Tournament (17th out of 20 Players)

Strange tourney, big action for the first round, then super tight after that.  So I try to buy a pot and get called down my KK.  So they won't raise, but will call you down with an A on board.  Not normal for a limit game. At 100/200 blinds with 18 players left.  Just got AA snapped by A8o.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (47th out of 50 Players)

2 hands.  AK on button with 3 limpers and I raise 4x, bb moves all in and I think for a while and call.  He has K5.  flops a 5.  I hate it when morons get rewarded for stupidity.

May 5, 2006, 6PM: Played 1 hour, 19 minutes, Made $35.00 at PP
$5 Buy-In Texas Hold'em Tournament (20 Players)

Accidently got myself into a limit tourney.  Good accident, I am first with 4 remaining.

I win! Maybe I should make this mistake more often.

$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (241st out of 836 Players)

Stayed around avg for most of the time, then took and ender against a flush draw and we both hit.  Only about 5xbb on button with AK 3 callers. Push and a limper turns over KK.  Why can't I hit my 3 outers? lol
