June 29, 2006, 11PM: Played 15 minutes, Made $70.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

After dealing 1 down, the game is wavering between 4 and 5 handed, but 2 are complete donkeys, so I sit with a rack and decided to try to plick them off.  1st hand in cutoff A6s and raise, get re-raised by donk in sb, bb folds (thanks to the rr by the moron) and other donk calls, I call and away we go.  Axx flop and he bets all the way to river with both of us calling.  I turn over my hand and it is good (told you these guys were donkeys).  Make one other hand out of sb with AKc vs good aggressive played who raised with AT flop TT2 2 clubs and I turn my club to put him on tilt.  He looses the rest of his rack in the next 2 hands and the game breaks.

June 29, 2006, 11PM: Played 3 hours, 15 minutes, Made $35.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Went in to talk with Daryl before my shift and have some dinner as there was no game.  My sparkling Jewel showed up and we got a game fired up.  Was really unsure how to proceed as I didn't was to get stuck before work as the game was real weak.  Caught myself playing poorly and took a walk to figure out a plan.

I hate playing with somewhere to be/do at a certain time.  It clouds your judgement and makes me play defferently than I would normally.  So I got my work situation squared away and decided to play until the game got strong enough to stand on its own.  Got a little winner then the game fills with 1 on the list, so I decide to work.

June 21, 2006, 12AM: Played 1 hour, Lost $100.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Tried to start a game, played tight and missed a couple of draws that killed me.  Had a player in the game that I can't seem to beat, the problem is that he is a super donkey and I feel like everything in front of him should be rightfully mine.  Oh, well kept the game long enough to deal myself even.

June 19, 2006, 6PM: Played 1 hour, 45 minutes, Made $202.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Waiting for dog at groomers.  5-6 handed game with 2 house people, I decided to sit and pay tight to pass the time and try to keep the game going.  Loosened up when we were 5 handed and had a yo-yo stack going.  1 big hand for pretty much all my chips, QQ in bb everyone limps and I raise everyone calls.  Flop 778 two diamonds I bet and get two callers. Turn Q diamonds, I bet and they both call.  River Q, I bet get raised and called so I re-raise and they both call.  One guy had 76 and the other had K2 diamonds.  Big pot for this game plus $167 Monte Carlo bonus.  Hung out for a few orbits, tipped out, and left because a played I can't stand showed up and sat beside me.

June 16, 2006, 4AM: Played 1 hour, Made $8.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Actually $7 and a candy bar(I was hungry).  Tried to keep the game together, but it was beyond saving.  Got no "real hands" so I had to improvise.  Played one hand poorly, but the rest of the hour I was happy with.  My hand selection is the best it has ever been, and I have finally found patience.  I can muck two orbits of bad cards without throwing in chips because I am bored, first time for this for me.

June 13, 2006, 1PM: Played 4 hours, 23 minutes, Made $240.55 at PP
$5 Buy-In Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (1st out of 283 Players)

Made the money as chip leader, wild ride to get here.  played loose to start the tourney, then very tight aggressive as the tourney wore on.  Was short stacked a lot of the tourney, but stayed patient and got my chips in with the best of it.  Right now with 30 left I have 117K next is 68K and avg is 28K.
20 left in second now with 113K, took some brutal beats.
Flaming out hard now, playing hard and getting out drawn. I have gotten a lot of good experience from this tourney: short stack, chip leader, loose, tight, etc.
Hopefully I can make a top 5 and make it pay off a little.
Final table, 4 in chips with 115K, battled back and need to make a few hands pay off.
Took the chip lead and when we blinded off a sitter we decided to take a % deal.  Two of us had to pick up our kids from school and we finally pressured to lone holdout to take it.
Overall a great tourney for me! I held my focus and was able to shake off the inevitable beats that come with O8.  My poker (live and online) is the best it has ever been.

June 13, 2006, 10AM: Played 1 hour, 12 minutes, Broke Even at PP
Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (266th out of 850 Players)

$500 freeroll, decided to take a race with the chip leader so I could chip up and do some damage, get 2 other callers. I take 66 vs AQ, AT, AK.  Q hits for chip leaded to take 3 of us out and solidify his standing.  Probably wouldn't make this play in a regular tourney, but only paid top 15 spots and I needed to chip up.

June 13, 2006, 9AM: Played 20 minutes, Lost $11.00 at PP
$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (25th out of 30 Players)

Cruising along picking up small pots when I get A9o on the button, raise 3.5x get the sb and chip leader limper.  flop 739 checked to me and I bet pot, sb calls other folds, turn A.  I make small bet relative to pot and he raises, bingo I think and push, he of course can't call fast enough with his set of sevens.

June 12, 2006, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 6 minutes, Made $4.00 at PP
$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (4th out of 20 Players)

Pretty boring, played alright.  Have to start getting a feel for the table earlier. If I am going to be successful in online tourneys I need to focus only on one tourney at a time when playing sit-n-go's.
Came back to make the money in good position then proceed to take several beats while trying to eliminate the short stack.  The other two just sat there and watched.  Oh well.
