May 30, 2009, 9PM: Played 4 hours at Southpoint
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Enjoyed playing at southpoint. There was a nice mix of tourists and regular players. ON the last hand I had 66 and two other players in the hand with one raising preflop to 11, I called and the flope was 6410 with two being clubs. I go all in 1st to act and the guy next to me contemplates and odviously I knew then that he was on a flush draw, he calls and J folds. The turn comes and its a 4 so even better I have a full house then the river is a 6! So I hit quads and got a pay out from the casino for 161! Im gonna lay low for awhile and get myself mentally ready again.

May 29, 2009, 9PM: Played 4 hours at Luxor
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Had no business playing that late at night and tired. Lost 2 pair AAQQ to a full house. Cant remember much else. I think I need to not buy in two times unless I am really feeling it.

May 28, 2009, 8PM: Played 1 hour at Hard Rock
Texas Hold'em

Sat down at a short handed very aggressive table and decided real quick that these players meant business. Def no tourists sitting at the table waiting to give their money away. Played only a few hands and almost doubled up with a full house. Played the hand nicely. The guy had a straight on the flop and i hit a set so i bet 25 and he called then the river came with an A and the flop was A25 so on the flop he hit a straight with 34 in his hand. The A only helped my hand and i checked it to him and he bet 25 i raised to 50 and he went all in. I called and showed the full house. Definitely a tougher game to play. I need to read the Caros book.

May 27, 2009, 12AM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes at M Resort
Texas Hold'em

Got AA third hand in and raised to 4 under the gun had 2 people call and then soomeone raise to 20. I went all in and the other two folded and this guy calls with KQo. Needless to say I did a quick double up. Had a very aggressive guy sitting to my right but made a few good calls and added to my chip stack. There was a lot of aggression at the table and by the time I was almost up to 400 I walked away because I was already quite a bit up.

May 25, 2009, 10PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes at M Resort
Texas Hold'em

Decided to go try our luck at the M. I wanted to try my luck again. I did very well and won a big pot with 99 against 1010. I hit my straight and put her on 2 high cards. Pocket AA came to about 6 of the 9 players. I decided I wanted to leave while me and J were ahead. Overall a very good learning experience.

May 25, 2009, 6PM: Played 4 hours at Hard Rock
Texas Hold'em

First time playing in a casino, got over my nervousness. Id say one of the only mistakes I made was not calling 2 peoples all ins with QQ. I was nervous that one of them had KK or AA. Would def call next time. Was not thinking of it as a cash game but instead as a tournament. Got taken out with a bad beat my AJ lost to A6 flop being AK8 and the turn was a 6. I feel I played pretty well throughout the night.

May 24, 2009, 1AM: Played 3 hours at Alex.s house
Texas Hold'em

Won heads up against Jason in the end. Had good hands the majority of the game. Made good bets with re raising and going all in. TJ made a couple not smart calls against me and I busted him out early on and also took someone out early on with AA. Overall very happy with how I played. I need to be more careful about not showing as many of my hands.
