August 20, 2006, 5AM: Played 48 minutes, Made $302.96 at Doyles Room
$2 Pot-Limit Omaha

with 9-9-8-8 double suited, some maniac on tilt raised pot to $7, all six players to the flop:Q-9-5, 2 diamonds. check, check, seat 3 bets $36, maniac goes allin for $35, big stack calls, i push allin for $125, SB calls allin for $52, BB folds, seat 3 flat calls, big stack reraises to put seat 3 in, seat 3 calls. SB shows nut diamond draw only, seat 3 has set 5s with small diamond draw, maniac has absolutely nothing, big stack has the only hand i dont want to see, set of Qs. i scan everyones hand for the last 9, nobody has it. i have one out, the last 9 in the deck. turn 9. i win 500 pot with quads. very lucky

$15 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (8th out of 10 Players)

very first hand with QQ, facing a raise, reraise and a call, i move in and everyone folds. later in BB with 5-4, only button limps. flop 5-4-3, i bet out, he raises, we get it allin, he shows A2.

August 20, 2006, 3AM: Played 1 hour, 51 minutes, Lost $44.00 at PartyPoker
$44 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (22nd out of 130 Players)

At the first break, i havent picked up a single premium hand and have had to work hard for every pot i won, which wasnt many. Still hovering around my starting amount, well below average, but not urgently short stacked. The highest i got at any point was just over double the starting amount. Not one premium hand for the whole 2 hours. Only one pocket pair 8s, which i folded preflop to a raise and reraise. Kept having to go allin with weak aces just to steal the blinds. Finally pushed in in late position with A10, the best ace i had all day, BB woke up with QQ.

August 19, 2006, 3PM: Played 1 hour, 50 minutes, Broke Even at PartyPoker
Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2,097th out of 5649 Players)

$100K Weekly Monster Freeroll
Goal was 2000th or better, which would have won a freeroll to the million dollar monthly. Waded my way through all the fishes, barely, and had built up a nice stack of 9000 with blinds at 200/400. In BB with AQ, the new player at the table raised to 1300 utg. normally i would move in here and race, but i dont want to get put out right before the bubble, so i just call. flop 10-J-k for the nuts. i check, he bets 3000, i move in for 7600, he calls with KK for top set. turn 6. river 6. DAMNIT!!! all i had to do was fold and wait 5 minutes for the next 97 people to get knocked out.

August 19, 2006, 6AM: Played 32 minutes, Lost $100.00 at Doyles Room
$1 Pot-Limit Omaha

i raise with suited aces, the donk calls, another guy goes allin, i re-pot, the donk flat calls. Flop A-2-3, 1 spade, so i have top set and a gutshot. i put donk allin for his last $30. he calls with 5-7-8-10 single suited. no pair and no draw. turn spade, river spade. donk takes almost all of my $$. Then he gives it all away to someone else on the very next hand making the same kind of donk play, except that time he didnt get runner runner miracle to save his donk ass. then the guy that won my $$ from him left with it. then the donk busted out and left.

August 19, 2006, 3AM: Played 2 hours, 40 minutes, Made $1.52 at PartyPoker
$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (96th out of 891 Players)

donks everywhere, as usual. They took a big chunk of my stack, then i'd build it back up, then another lucky catch to cripple me, build it up, fished out...so on and so on. Finally the cards started to hold up. Some donk called my massive allin with JQ off, my KK held up. Also got VERY lucky to triple up with KK vs AA vs JQ allin preflop. Sat around for awhile folding. Then i made a mistake. Folded to me in SB with 5-6 clubs, i push in vs a guy who has about hald my stack. We both have plenty of chips to play with but he calls anyway with 10-6 of diamonds. i have no earthly idea how he justified that call. he made it so fast that i think he hit the button on accindent. needless to say, i didnt hit my miracle 5. now i'm short stacked again, right near the bubble.
