$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (214th out of 390 Players)

it was a 6 player table and I was not patient at all...I decided after an hour of playing patient to go all in on a reraise with pocket 2's!!!!! what the hell was i thinking? It doesn't help that I just got done with a 12 hour work shift and choose to play in a 4+ hour tourny....just stupid on my part.

$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (171st out of 180 Players)

Unbelievable!!!! With blinds at 10/20 I get a pair of pocket 10's. I raise 5 the blinds to start. i have to guys reraise me 5 mre the blinds. I pause and call. The flop comes A-8-3....both guys check. I thought about checking but I raise half of my chips. The other guys calls me all in and I call. This Donkey has 8-9 off suit and ofcourse he catches a 9 on the river. The only consolation is I read him correctly.

November 28, 2006, 1PM: Played 45 hours, Lost $17.50 at Pokerstars
$0.10/0.20 Omaha

it was one of those situations where if I got a great flop( I.E. sets, strights....) 4th or river nailed me. I tried to force my straight on the flop to win and it was neat on 4th street with a bigger straight...I got frustrated because i wasn't winning. If I am not winning for a few hands I need to move on or leave.

$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 45 Players)

Again....I played the style I was taught: played premium hands did not panic when chips were low and I did suck out twice to get where I was....at the point of heads up any two cards could play and I lost when the other guy hit a pair.

November 28, 2006, 9AM: Played 1 hour, Made $27.00 at Pokerstars
$6 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

It was nice just to get back to basics and play the way I was taught......I had several occasions where I could have raised or called raises with small pocket pairs and choose not to. i even called a raise with my A-Q and was hit. Remembering I need to only play premium hands in the beginning and play much more aggressive in later rounds. Stay by that winning formula at all times.

November 27, 2006, 11PM: Played 25 hours, Lost $30.00 at Pokerstars
$30 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (140th Place)

I played like a fish.....I went all in with pocket 7's like an idiot and ofcourse the other guy had kings. I went away from everything I learned and tried to force a win. I can't play that way. i need to tighten up and play premium hands early and observe others.
