February 24, 2007, 12PM: Played 9 hours at Quest Casino - Spokane
$10/20 Texas Hold'em
What a frustrating session this one was. I get my money back from the 3-6 game in the first hour of the session. Then Daryl hits a gutshot after peeling the cheap one on the flop. (I flopped top 2). No more sugar, no more sugar for that game. But my stacked stayed oscillating around 300 for most of the session. Then beat number one (of memory, oh there were more, but I was able to recover from most of them hense the oscillation) comes in.
I have AA vs A7s ... Flop 875 rainbow....river you guessed it 7.
So I take a break by going to ram at the craps table, cause I know If I continue playing at this point I will just tube off the rest of my chips.
I go over my lobby time and my chips get pulled, but the floor was nice enough to put me first on the list for the feeder game.
I get into the feeder game, and the play seemed pretty tight, so i was about to make a move or two and steal a few pots. Then beat #2(that I can recall, I actually suffered more) came in.
I have K8s in the cuttoff, and it is a kill pot, there is one limper and the so I 2 bet, button calls, bb reraised, limper and kill call, I call, button call.
Flop is KT8 rainbow. I think nice, 3bet raiser bets, fold, fold, I raise, button 3 bets, better folds, I call.
Turn comes a 9, I think, well he could have flopped top 2 or a set, then I would be fucked, or he could been raising with the only draw possible QJ which he just hit, so I check, he checks.
River comes another 9, I think fuck well if he was 3betting the flop on the button with a bigger K, Im screwed, so I check, he bets, I make a crying call cause I dont have many chips left. He rolls over the hand I least expect to see 89, fucker caught miracle miracle.
Im steamed so I pick up my last $20-some and quit.
