The thing that had me stumped on this hand was the outragous bet on the river.  Why so much I asked myself for about 40 seconds of my time bank clicking off.

After that hand got up to 25K, then donked off 10K with QQ.  Then took my 13K back into 20K to coast into the money.

Coasting through the money was ok, cause I did pick up a hand here and there and never committed myself till I got really short.  Didnt think I would make it to the 63place pay slot, then I double up with Ac9c against Qc9s.  Very next hand pick up AA and steal the blinds.  This allowed me to sneak into the 63 pay slot.

After getting there 3 players dropped in one hand.  I took a stab at the blinds with Ac7c with little over 3X the bb in my stack, and GOT A WALK.  Played through another round of blinds when someone in early pos raised with AcJc.  Enough to put me all-in.  I call with AdKh If I win that hand i have 40K with the blinds 1500/3000.  Flop came AcJhXh, fearful of AJ like always cause I seem to run into that hand with a bigger ace, and they seem to find the J more than the 18% or whatever they are supposed to.  This was the case.

Was really happy to make it as far as I did.

Had a big stack through the early rounds of the tournament, and just kinda sat on, not really feeling the need to risk little here little there.

Then when I was short stacked I played excellent.  Had the disipline to lay down JJ with an a on the board with the BB calling my raise.  (only had 7X the bb left after folding), could have been busted that hand.

Had the disipline to lay down A-X suited after getting put all in by a stack not much bigger than mine (leaving me with once again 7X the bb after folding).  Most people would have felt themselves committed to call, but I wanted to wait to get my chips in with the best hand.

Was really pleased with my performance for this tournament, and hope my WSOP event is played very similar.  Except for running into the donkeys that feel AJ is so powerful.

I am very confident in my tournament game right now, and I know when I get myself in front of people instead of the computer a lot more of my tournament skills come out.

Thats why DeiYuo is begging me a piece of my action.
