January 10, 2011, 11PM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes at Lucky Lil's - Butte
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Stopped by to say hello to Daryl before my surgery.  I was restless and decided playing poker may not be a bad idea.  Was bigger winner till Waylen cracked my aces with TT.  Had him exactly where I wanted him, do to his inability to shut up at the table.  I raised from the sb and he-reraised pre-flop from the bb.  I smooth called to look for a favorable flop, and the ability to let go if I think he hit his set.  My instincts told me he would not get rid of it if I make it the pot cap of $105 more.  Flop was not entirelly favorable as I knew he flopped a set. KcQcTc flop.  I have AcAs, and I checked he bet the pot cap of $105.  I wanted to instally lay it down, but then calculating my outs of 14, I knew I was getting better than 2 to 1 so I called.  Sure enough he had TT, and the board paired with a K on the turn reducing my outs to 5.  I miss he wins.  Ran it through the calculator and on the flop when all the chips went in I was a 46% to 54% underdog.  Giving me almost even money on a 2 to 1 price.

After that hand I tried to recover a little and peeled away a few more chips and then left.  Game was a pretty good short handed game.
