August 16, 2006, 12AM: Played 1 hour, 45 minutes at Butte Depot
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Great 6 handed game.  About 4K on the table.  Players were all farely decent players.  Game broke down like this.
 
Player 1.  Maniac but knows how to lay a hand down.
Player 2.  Cautious old man playing pretty solid hands.
Player 3.  Smarter player that plays the whole deck.
Player 4.  A ROCK
Player 5.  A Donkey that plays/raises poor ranking hands(KT for ex)
 
Double up right away in the BB with KK, 4 limpers I raise 10 more and get 2 callers.  I flop top set(K75) and check it into two players.  Player 3 bets 20 from the cut-off.  I call and Player 1 mucks.  Turn brings a 6.  I fire 25 now, and he raises enough to put me all-in.  I think for a second and cannot possible put him on 1/2 hands that can beat me.  Turn card traped him into doubling me up (Gave him a set of 6's) I was still confident that my hand was way good and rolled it over immediately after I called.
 
Then pissed away some chips over time.  Over played KJ Flopping a J.  Player 1 called my raise pre in the dark from the rail and ended up flopping 2 pair.  Still had 8 outs after the turn as he flopped bottom 2.
 
Next hand that I doubled up with was 6c8c.  I raised to 12 in the UTG to mix things up.  Flop was 3d4c5h.  I fire a $25(1/3 of my stack) into the 4 players.  As all they have seen me raise pre with is big pairs.  I get 1 caller(Player 2).  Turn is the 3c.  I check and he puts me all in.  He has As3s.

River comes 7s giving me the nut st8.
 
Last decent sized pot I have ATo on the button.  Flop middle pair and turned two pair against QJo who flopped 2 pair(Player 2).  He was bitter at me again, but thats how I like it.
 
Overall I feel like I played well in that particular game.  I played the game (players in it) well.  Thats the first time I let the game decide how my play should be.  But I think that is an improvement in my game.
