Week Break

Took a little vacation in some small village in France.  The place of coarse had no internet let alone wirless. 
 
So I unintentionaly end up taking a break from online poker for a week.
 
I must say it helps put things in perspective for you.  Every dollar spent should be taken seriously.  There have been times where I am playing in lower buy-in tournaments and don't care because the top 3 pay only a few hundred.  This is bad and I should either move up buy-ins or stop playing in those I have no respect.
 
Another thing I noticed was my time spent.  We went hiking, played chess, ate well, drank and ate a ton of cheese and wine.  Is your time playing worth what you are earning? If you are enjoying yourself than yes it doesn't matter if you win or lose.  It is when you are playing for a profit and earning less than you want per hour where the frustration starts to set in.  My goal - enjoy the day more.
