February 2, 2007, 5PM: Played 1 hour, 42 minutes at Lucky Lil's - Butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em
Just stepping in to play a little before work. Played pretty solid, until one of the looser players at the table called my raise in the small blind with 4-8o. But for him payback was a bitch. I had just caught a couple of hands, and Im in the bb with 4-6o he raised it and another player in late position reraised, 4 players had already called the intial raise, so I thought fuck it, cap it. (4-6o is a player I knows favorite hand - Johnny) flop was K-4-6 2 hearts, I said check and raise, and the intial raiser says ok and bets, 4 callers, and I checked and raised. One player called between me and the initial raiser, and the initial raiser capps it. Turn comes the 4h, I check, hoping the the player in between me and the raiser made his flush as I really wanted to bust him. He checked also and the initial raiser bet, and I check and raised again. River came a blank and I fire. Me full, him nut flush. But as the hand was going I was saying my hand reminded me of a late night talk show on NBC. As I turned over my hand I made the comment "Here's Johnny". Kinda made the other player mad and he got up and cashed out. Was that bad of me not to actually think of pissing him off cause he always provides action to the game. Him and his wife are always good at blowing off his retirement check every month. He told the dealer that he wont play with me in the game anymore. But he always says shit like that. I guess we will see if I lost his action.
After that hand I didnt pick up shit and came off about 50+ in chips just call-folding. Got caught up bs-ing with my neighbor. I have to stop doing that, every time I catch my self bullshitting, I end up just peeling off chips.
