October 19, 2007, 7AM: Played 35 hours, Made $20.00 at Full Tilt

okay...

didn't want to post on this til i got back to even, because i was kind of pissed off thaaaat...

i was at 240, had one of those drunken nights, took a pretty bad beat on a well overpriced game for my roll... then went on super tilt

woke up the next morning with 2 bucks

i've worked that 2 bucks back up to 260... hopefully lesson learned... took a lot of time tho... that day, after the beating, i went on a great roll and pushed it from 2 to about 150... been a grind since then tho... 35 hours is an estimate over a 9 day span, but it's probably right

October 17, 2007, 6PM:
Poker Cruise

Well, Jesse and I are finally back in Napa after spending a couple of days on the beach in LA.  Needless to say, we needed a bit of wind down time after 7 days at sea.

The poker cruise was a lot of fun.  We would spread some tournaments, then have a couple of 1-2 no limit games, and a 3-6 structured game here and there.  After we shut down the poker room, it was a night of drinking and dancing at the top of the ship.  I played several times and did pretty good for the whole trip.  My bar tab came to 500 dollars, which was not the record for one person in our party...lol.

I will be posting soon the results of my wins and losses.

I'll be back in Spokane Friday, and back to the daily grind at BD's.

Talk to you all soon!

Daryl

October 17, 2007, 1AM: Played 4 hours, Made $71.68 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 884 Players)

10k at the first break...tons of action :)

You often hear people talk about cops having a quota for tickets they need to issue per month...well full tilt must have one for suckouts because I don't know if i have ever seen this many....i am def not one who believes in "online is rigged" or all that stuff and am not saying that about tonight but what all those 10%'s are happenin tonight lol...i have dodged most (not all!) of it but man its been brutal.....17k in chips though and the action is still fast :)

Second break.  16k in chips and just made the money...about 110 left I am in 25th.

Just had to fold QQ to a 4-bet min raise so i was getting 7:1...thankfully i was right and he had AA but i still have 27k and am in decent shape.

3rd break...28k...1-2k blinds...27 people left....13/14, so card dead...9/12...8/10...FINAL TABLE!

7/8...6/6...5/5...4/4

lost with 99 v an A4 ughhh...woulda been virtually guaranteed heads up.  amazing how unsatisfying third can be.

October 14, 2007, 11PM: Played 3 hours, Made $14.68 at Full Tilt
$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (8th out of 368 Players)

Made the money and I have a pretty solid stack...I am sittin behind this aggro who's in second of 63 and he doubled me earlier but I have to stay careful with him.

10/33...15/27....15/21...9/16........Third break, 11/14 left....7/12...9/10...Final Table!

I moved in for a total of 6x the BB in the SB with Q6 spades and the BB called with A9 and thats that.  Third final table in a 8 days I think, I am really happy with my play and i am certainly runnin pretty good, but i really want that top three finish for a big score.

October 14, 2007, 4PM: Played 3 hours, Made $8.60 at Full Tilt
$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (21st out of 705 Players)

105 left i have 13k...just lost a 6k pot with TT v AK which woulda put me at about 27k.  2:45 mins in and I am gonna prolly bubble.

Justice...AQ v 88 and I won this race to get to 25k...76 left.  72 make the money.

Third break and in the money! I have 11x the BB with 57 left now but i am still in about 32nd place...24/48...17/33...17/23

I had 14x the BB and a big stack raised 3x from the CO and i was in the SB with JJ and came over the top for all of it and he had QQ.  I am really happy with this finish.  I almost didn't play it because it was $5 and I have been trying to stick to the 1-2 dollar tournys but I like the way i have been playin so i took a shot...If i double there i am a top 5 stack with 21 to go and have a great shot at the final table.

what a terrible call. i'm an idiot. you know why i made that call. cuz on tuesday, that same board came out when i had 36 vs AJ, i checkraised allin, just like this guy, and AJ beat me on the river. it was the same situation, so i made a bad play cuz someone in a different game made bad play aainst me and got lucky. how stupid is that!
