$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 915 Players)

12 left.  The short stacks have won 10 of their last 10 all ins and were behind in 8 of them...meanwhile i am carddead and gonna bubble cuz of it.

Wow, survived it to make the final table...7/9...7/7...6/6...5/5

Ahh, AKs all in v A6 and he rivers a straight...I am not as sick about this hand as I normally would be because I gave away chips the hand before so my all in was pretty small.  Finally got (cept for the last hand) all my AK's v AJ's etc to hold up and got the nice finish I knew I was so close to...mostly happy but still annoyed by the mistake to lose chips on the second to last hand.

Poker Stars and Full Tilt Hand History Uploading

Finally Rob sat on the couch and finished up hand history uploading for both Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars!

For now not much information is given to you, but remember this, the more hands that are saved the more information will be available to all of us later.

Hand Histories are also nice to backup and verify your online performance as well as to replay hands that were problematic and get opinions.

Uploading hand histories for these sites are the same as Party Poker is, Hand History Uploading Guide

*with Full Tilt Poker you must click the "Save My Hand Histories" box for them to be saved to your machine, the box is located in the "Main Menu" under "Options" and the last option titled "Hand History..." once open you can click the "Save My Hand Histories" box.

*for Poker Stars to save hand histories to your machine, log into the "Main Menu", click the "Options" tab, then close to the bottom the "Instant Hand History Options..."
There you can click the "Save My Hand History" box.

On both sites once in the Hand History menu you can choose where to save the Hand History files on your computer and also to set the length of time in which to save hand histories.

$22 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament (3rd out of 35 Players)

Annoyed at how this one ended, three handed, Button raises pot, I come over the top pot, he calls with AQT8, flop is Q23 two spades, I flop over pair and nut flush draw, bet pot, pretty much all in, he hesitates and calls with top pair no draw, dead to 5 cards and busts me.
Last Donk Hand

He is the same guy that busted the guy I put a bounty on too.  The guy I put a bounty of fucked me over as well when I trapped him with AA and he had KK, he continues to bluff bet off his stack on the turn but backs into three 5s on the river.
KK beating my AA

Not happy with 3rd.

$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (86th out of 335 Players)

My online roll is about as low as it has been since my good run in October :(

First break.  1100 chips, gotta double or will be done in a few mins....I JUST WANNA WIN A FRICKIN TOURNAMENT.

Ran a stop and go against a button raiser that fortunately worked out but I still need to double very soon, just bought some time....sooo card dead, i am prolly down to my last few hands, move in with AA don't get a call, then move in with T8hearts a few hands later for a whopping 5x the BB and get called by KT.

Account Sharing

Looks like someone just lost a $200k win by having his buddy in Europe finish off the $1M tourney he started in NYC:

http://www.pokerlistings.com/possible-cheater-caught-at-full-tilt-poker-21428

A lot of this goes on, but you need to take risk/reward into account.  As the size of your winnings go up, the likelihood that you will be caught sharing your account goes up.  What this means is that, as your expected win goes up, your motivation to share your account goes down.  The obvious conclusion is that if you are willing to share your account, it probably means you aren't planning on doing very well at it.

November 30, 2007, 12AM: Played 2 hours, Made $220.00 at Greyhound
$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Generally speaking I played well. All you need to do in this game is play like a rock with optimal hands and you'll get paid off. Suprisingly they aren't good enough to know that someone was only playing solid starting hands but that's another story. The funny thing regarding this session is that I only played two hands the whole time and managed to win them both(KK and JJ). I would have stayed longer but I went out with Tim and Mel for some food and drinks, which led to too many drinks for me to drive so I left.

November 30, 2007, 12AM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Made $329.00 at Hollywood Park
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

My buddy VJ and I went to HP. I played well(not calling my gut shots,...) entire three hours, except for this one hand. This was my first raise after 1.5 hrs I was under the gun and I had 10 Q off suit I raised it to $18(6 times big blind, this was standard at the table) everyone folded except big blind he called me. Flop comes 9 5 2 rainbow. Big blind checked to me I bet 25 he calls, turn J he checked and I bet 45 he called me, river 6. he checked to me he had 65 left and I thought to push him all in but fearing that he is going to call me I checked too what a shame he won the pot with 8 9

The other two hands that I won..

I was BB(poket Aces), couple of people limped in someone in middle position raised it to 18 button VJ went all in for 29 I reraised it to 45(one of the players said that I cannot reraise but the dealer ruled it out ) the other guy called. FLOP 10C 7D 8D, I checked he bet 75 into me and I went all-in for 120 he called me with KK and I won the pot(~350).

I was about to leave(I am on button) middle pos raised it to 22 this other guy before me called and I went allin(350) with KK(I looked at their stacks initial raiser had ~150 the other guy had 75). Initial raiser called me with
QQ and lost the pot to me.

$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (227th out of 1264 Players)

Early on I have this guy two seats to my right and he is min-raising every pot preflop and taking almost every pot down on the flop with another min-bet.  I pick up A9 in the CO and call his min raise pre and the flop comes JAJ and he doesn't continuation bet for the first time so I am pretty sure he has the J lol...we go check check on the flop and turn (turn was blank) and then when the river blanked he FIRED out a min bet on the river and i just called to see the QJ lol.  what a fool, if he bets that flop he might take a nice chunk of my stack but instead he gets away with 150 chips with 25-50 blinds lol.

Picked up KK against JJ to double then chipped up during the last 15 mins of the first hour to get to 3800 playin a lot of small pots...that normally isn't something i do because ppl play so aggro and play big pots so i sit back and look for good spots to resteal or double with big hands but this table is playing really loose/passive...rarely fold pre and then act like they are allergic to the pot on the flop and turn :)

I was short for a long time and I finally pick up AK to move in with and there is a dead small and i get a walk...next hand i pick up 99 move in and run into AA.  Feel like i played good so hopefully I put one of these together soon.

November 29, 2007, 5PM: Lost $350.00
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (10 Players)

night session

mtts:I am really going to try and mix up my game tonight
between laggy and tag...lets see how it goes!

bust out hands: 24+2-AQ shoved 1200 chips from the button
with 4 limpers (blinds were 40/80) got called by KT
nice call bud>>>made a dumb bluff early in the tourney
on someones weak lead on a paired board.  No need to
   make these bluffs especially early.

150-55 vs AK...oh my it would be nice to win a race in a big mtt.  got short stacked way to early again.  Made an ill advised cont bet against a shorter stack who shoved ....Still figuring out if I should be laggy early or tight...again working on mixing up my play.  Tight early seems to be the way to go so you can get deep push/fold, but I was very successful

sng's:

60-6th...got short stacked early and had to shove A8..ran
into QQ....made a cont bet early that cost me
chips...no need to cont bet much in sng's with outa
piece of the flop, because those chips are needed fo
   rlater around push/fold time.
60-4th-lost a race on the bubble...I stop and go'd on
someone with AK flop was T high and the board paired
twice to cancel out my hand
60-3rd-battled to get past thebubble...got 88 sucked
out on by A3 then got lucky to get back and get 3rd.

Adjustments for 2nd round...cont bet less in sng's to save chips around push/fold time

60-bad beat to death..took 2 bad beats and bye bye
60-shoved A6 short handed and lost to A7
120-shoved 17 short handed and ran into AA weeeeeeeee.
60-2nd

well didnt go exactly how I had expected, but I am playing the 11's on tilt and on UB so lets see how those go.  I am going to tighten up a bit early on in the mtt's again trying to tweak my game to become more successful more consistantly.
