December 22, 2007, 4PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $280.00 at Capitol Casino
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Lost majority on really bonehead play.  I had $150 to start hand with KK, raised to $50 and had one caller.  Flop comes A63, and I bet half my stack.  He goes all in and of course I call.  I wanted to bet an amount that would give me information, of course it was too much because with $250 in pot, I almost need to call anything after he goes all in.  He shows A3 to win the pot, so lose $150 when there's an overcard.  To my credit, he was a crazy loose player and had bluffed me out of a few pots, but I need to lay that down.  Arhhgg!

$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (14th out of 1357 Players)

ajfdlkajdsf....pretty deep (50ish left) and i raise from the button with J8c to push around short stacks in the blinds, BB thinks for a min then calls, 567 flop and he insta shoves so basically its obv that he was running a stop n go and could have anything so i have to call getting great odds and he flips up the 94 lol.  hits the 8 and i am down to 15k instead of 45 with 1-2k blinds...gotta try to get back in it now.

ahh, QQ in early position and i make it 18k (had 92k to start the hand)...Chip leader pushes me all in from the SB and i call.  he has AK and i lose a race...i ran good most of the tourney so i can't complain but that woulda been guaranteed final table if i win that race.

December 27, 2007, 7PM: Played 4 hours, Made $333.00 at Horseshoe
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Basically was getting cold cards most of the session. Tried to bluff an old hag when I missed the flop with fours and failed. Also flopped trips with T5 in my BB and someone with AA rivered his 2 outer. Luckily I got away from it because there was a 3 flush on board. Doubled up on final hand of the session when I limped T6 suited in a multiway. SB raised to 13, got 3 callers including me. Flop was T87 with 2 spades. Checked to me and I bet 25, raiser called. I bet 35 after an offsuit 6 turned giving me 2 pair. He raised to 90. I thought for about 3 minutes then put him AI because I didn't think he could possibly have a 9 and he called with Kings and bricked the river.

December 27, 2007, 9PM: Played 3 hours, 56 minutes, Made $58.36 at Full Tilt
$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (43rd out of 1212 Players)

Frustrated beyond belief.

It is always the tourneys I think I am not doing well in that I end up placing in and grinding.

Wind up getting a nice stack after hours of patience.  Have about 45K with ave stack of 80K and 50 players left.

I know can steal blinds again or actually not move in pre.

I pick up AA UTG, raise and AQ hesitates and moves all in.  I call and see his 6% chancer take me down to 5K.

Next hand I'm in the BB with JT and dont do anything.

Like a friend told me, "You always have to be bad beat to get busted, rarely do you make mistakes".

So, I must just keep playing and putting in the time.

December 27, 2007, 7PM: Played 2 hours, 45 minutes, Lost $27.50 at Poker Stars
$27.50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (234th out of 1642 Players)

This was very frustrating.

At one point I had 45K and was chip leader with about 500 players left.

I noted this agro on my left that was all over the map.  He ended up chopping my stack down 3 tims calling with junk, outflopping me and once outplaying me(re-raising me pre with 69 off and continuation betting)

I then finally pick up AK UTG and run into AA.

In retrospect I was playng slightly looser pre-flop then normal, then again I had a big stack.

Just frustrated with the results.

On this hand I went out on, I figured a my 99 were good on the flop because realistically 1010 or JJ would have raised me preflop...I was wrong and 1010 snap called me....Overall, not too bad for my first tournament in 2 months...

December 25, 2007, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $4.40 at Poker Stars
$4.40 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (101st out of 180 Players)

Tripled up early in the tournament and played okay. I also had a series of Ax hands hold up which helped put me in contention; however, the last hand of my tournament life gave me big slick. Action comes to me and I make a nice sized bet and get 2-3 callers, including a player that goes all-in. I know he has a pocket pair and because my A hands had been working throughout the tournament and I knew he didn't have a high pocket pair I made the call. To my suprise so did the other players so the pot was upwards of $10k with an average chip stack of $2k and chip lead of $6k so this was a no brainer...

I don't hit so the biotch with pocket 5s takes it down and I'm out.

$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (41st out of 1607 Players)

Well im in the money. Going up and down .... cards are holding and cards are not holding. Right now at 37k 2 1/2 hours into the tournament with 130 people to go and Im currently in 8th. That can change on a dime though.

It is 3am in the morning and its getting to be that time where its "Build the stack or get to bed". I had AK with 58K and a guy with 150k Pushed. Yea, i know he has a very very good pocket pair but i figure its 3am. I call and he has Q's. I was thinking, hey i was up against Q's 2 other times and got beat by trips it couldnt happen again! Well, Q on the flop! haha....

I Have been doing so good on Pstars mtt's but FTP's i suck balls. Wonder why? Well, heres to another night!
