October 17, 2008, 11PM: Played 3 hours, Made $550.00 at Lucky Lils
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I was totally in the bag, and having a great time with my friend Greg in town.  I still played good poker, I was totally overbetting every big hand I had and the donkeys always paid me off.  Thank you! For all I won, I still didn't have much to show for it tho - I gave weasel $200 (Jessie took $100 of it off my tab so now I only owe jessie $100), I covered $150 of Greg's loss, and paid my Mom and Dad the rest so I was still broke LOL.  Apparently, COB was mad at me because I was laughing at him when he took a bad beat.  Even tho I really like the guy, he's got to get a little tuffer skin if he is going to play this game.

The game is fun when you win, but it seems like if I'm having fun - I have a better chance of winning! HMMMM!

Just relax and enjoy the game COB! Bye the way, u r not playing your game of poker right now (I don't know why) but you r going to go broke if you keep playing the way u were on Friday and Saturday

swoop swoop.... crazy game a drunk guy risked 850 on a flush draw vs a set and he won, sickness the guy freaked out lol. The guy waS so wasted and hittin shitty for the table. Got lucky in a few spots and ran into a flush over flush. One hand i floped the NUTZ and lol i threw a small bet outthere and it got raised RR and i went all in vs two pair and my str8 held up. There are alot of regulars out there and its fun to play with some good players, who respect the game... Im not gonna play limit nearly as much its childs play compared to the real cash games.

$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2,254th out of 21292 Players)

tripled up on the first hand with KK vs T2 vs JT on a T high flop. rode a big stack the whole way until just outside of the money. some crazy shoves 12bb in early position with KJo and i wake up with AK in the sb. and of course he hit his 3 outer. i blind out. with very high blinds and most people short stacked, there had been significant action on every hand. i pick up KK in middle position and min raise, everyone folds. couple hands later i pick up KK in bb and everyone folded around! and that was literally the first time that had happened in 2 hours. damn. playing hand4hand, everyone was playing tight and stalling, so i open shove the button with 47o, but that doesnt matter cuz one of the blinds has to wake up with an absolute monster to call off. bb stalls, runs out his entire timebank and then calls with AK and i double him. just flat unlucky that he has a hand there. i lose half my stack and limp into the money. lame. i didnt play badly, again the cards didnt fall my way.

October 16, 2008, 8PM: Played 4 hours, Lost $200.00 at BJs
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

cards ran dead. won my first pot 3 hrs in on a river bluff when i missed my flush and the board double paired. never got involved in any pots that had been raised, by saw several flops with limped hands like suited connectors. never hit anything, so i didnt lose much. won a decent pot with AQc on board of 2cKdJdTd. won a small pot with QQ. those were the only 3 hands i won. bust hand: i have $221 behind and pick up AA. 3 people limp for the $4 button staddle and i make it $21 from the hijack. ricky instacalls next to me and 2 others call, $90 pot. flop T42 rainbow. i bet $30. ricky instaraises to $150. we get it in. he has TT i lose...i'm not upset that i lost or that he outflopped me. and i dont think i could have layed it down. i just wish i had taken more time to go over the hand in my head and at least give myself a chance to make a good lay down, which i didnt do.

October 16, 2008, 5AM: Played 1 hour, 8 minutes, Made $64.40 at Full Tilt
$22 Buy-In Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Tournament (4th out of 36 Players)

Grinded my damn balls off.

Was never a big stack.

Final table only top 4 pay and me short stack.

Just limped and waited to get paid with big hands.

Had a great shot when down to 6(or 5 players) to double up and take a player almost out ( < 2 BB left).  The agro donk raised my BB in cutoff with KJ98, SB called and I see AA49.. my re-raise puts me almost all in and both players have to call a pot sized re-raise.. the donk calls and we chop it :(

Make money folind premium hands UTG and not limping in SB as it eats your stack away.  When in money 4 handed in BB with JT52.. flop is JJ5, lead out and get two callers and the SB raises pot.. I go in, we head up, he has same hand but with 78 re-draw while I just have the T re-draw.. 7 comes :(

Happy to get this far and make a very small profit after being offline so long.

$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1,076th out of 21419 Players)

didnt win any of the last 10 hnads i played and it just killed me. i had a big stack when we reached the money, then i doubled up 2 short stacks with 99 vs their KQo and KQo. not cool. then i got moved 5 times, never for more than 6 hands. that killed me. then i wasnt getting any hands. dont get me wrong, i'm not afraid to put it in there cuz i wanted a big cash, but somebody beat me into the pot everyhand. it was totally gross. i've never seen so many people play so wildly. play never slowed on the bubble and it was at a maniacle? pace after that. there was someone allin almost every single hand... you try to wait for a good cards and if they dont come, you wait for a good spot to steal or pick up unwanted pots, but the question is what do you do when there are no spots? there was one hand i remember when someone pushed in before me and i had KQo in middle position and folded. thats the only time i can think of when i could have played a hand. but i had like 11bb at the time, so i can wait for a better hand to call off with. i just cant believe there were no spots. none...at least i cashed. 1st time for me in this tourney. like 1/9 or something sad like that

October 7, 2008, 1AM: Played 8 hours, 30 minutes, Made $230.00 at Lucky Lil's - Great Falls
$225 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 47 Players)

What a grind.. work my way to the final table.

Lowest in chips with 10 players left, only the top 4 really make any money, $1000 ish and more.

Jimmy is at the final table with me and we both are in short stack steal/grind mode trying to outlast the others.

I manage to pick the right spots to steal and attack.  At times not looking at my hand to go all in to ensure I pull the trigger.

My only mistake at the final table was when in the BB with two limpers the flop came down 27J two spades.  I held the 92 of spades.  The UTG limper checked, button bet 5K.  I called assuming if he had air he would take the free card on the turn.  Instead he fired off 7.5k and I had only 9K.  I layed it down, in retrospect I should have check raised all in or folded.

GO back to the grind and build my stack into second place.  Had the chip leader on my right and two easy reads on my left fueling my stack.

Disaster struck in the BB with KK when AJ donkey makes a raise and when I move in he can't fold.  I'm left with >20K in chips and short stacked.  I do my best to grind with 5 players left but have nothing to work with.

Had I won that KK pot I would have been chip leader with 4 left and "easily" should have taken top two.
