about 5 minutes in I knew I wasn't in the mood to play and while I can't say this hand was the fault of that I should've just quit. I have AAK6 double suited in my bb. There are two short stacks and one with about 35. It's raised with a couple callers, so I try to eliminate the stack that could hurt me but everyone calls (two are all in). Flop is K 8 4 rainbow, so I put the other person all in for 27, and of course they couldn't fold 3 4 4 5 so I am in trouble, the turn is a 2 taking away my only miracle draw which of course hits the river A making him the wheel and shipping 96 buck pot his way.
wow, got stupid lucky against a guy trying to take a pot away from button raiser. I have AK52 double suited, we are heads up. Flop comes 2 4 9 with two spades which I have the nut draw. I check it to him and he pots it so I put him on the overpair type hand and raise it to which he goes all in over me. I figure 30 more with gutshot pair and nut flush I can't let it go, he rolls over JJ22, so I am like whoops, turn brick, river 3, get even getting lucky!

Had one big hand and I did not play it very well.
4s4c in the middle. There is a raise to $10 and four players to the flop. 4dAsQh. First player goes all-in for $17 and I call. The initial raiser makes it $40 and it is folded back to me. I call hoping to set a trap on the turn. Well the turn is the case 4h. I checked and he bets $40 into $135. I don't want to lose him and I call. The turn is the 10d and I bet $100 into $215 and he mucks. He said he had AQ. I need to make more moves on the flop and I am suffering from FPS lately.
AsAd in the SB. The straddle is out and there is a limper to me. I make it $20 and get two callers. Flop is Qh10d3d. I bet $35. Straddler calls and the other guy goes all-in for $60. We both call. Turn is the 8s. I bet $80 and he calls. River is the 2c. Perfect blank and I bet $80. He calls with AQ but the other guy has 1010 and wins the main.
I then made a great call pre-flop with 88 against crazy Persian Tony for $65. He has A7s and flops an Ace.

had a great session going, early on have 9910J in bb, flop 789 and turn 9, guy on button ramming 88 so I make 50 there. Had another couple nice hits, but then I took the awesome beat, guy begging to give me his stack, I have A J J 10 in bb, it's a blind vs. blind hand, flop is 10 10 7, he fires at it I call, turn A, same thing, river comes Q, I finally raise his bet on the river and he insta shoves, I can't let it go now obviously, he shows Q Q 8 6. Thanks for that cooler.
wow, it gets worse..I set a time to quit and was about 3 minutes in front of it, wake up with A J J 4 double suited on button, it's raised with some action so I come with, flop is J 9 6 with 2 clubs, preflop raiser pots it for 8, I try to take it down and pot it, he shoves all in for about 10 more, so I am assuming overpair nut flush draw, he has one of them, but it's A 6 2 2, I dodge the turn, but the river is the Q of clubs and 85 buck pot goes his way. I like to try and wait til turn in these hands, but I doubt he goes anywhere since he was so quick to shove it.
frustrated, could've limited this loss, but kept playing a little tilted and tired as well.
of course as I am typing this up I catch 3 decent hands within about 5 minutes to take what was almost exactly a 100 stuck session and get about even.

blah, two hands ruined a decent session, was up about 40 bucks, have AAK6 and get all in for about 30 preflop vs. AA33, flop is K 6 5, turn is a 4 giving him 6 outs and the river is the 3, so that sucked. About two hands later I must've been pouting or something, but I have AK54 and flop all 3 A K 5, guy didn't have much in front of him, 17 or something, but I knew I was beat when he check raised me and sure enough he had 5 5 in the bb.
was typing that up as I was giving up the night, got even on one pot after stuck about 40, I have A9 spades 67 clubs in bb, guy raised mid position, flop is 2 3 5 of spades, I check he does too, turn I check he bets 3, I fire out 4 on the river, he makes it 13, I shove in my total of 45 and he pays it off, thanks fool, he had K765 with K 6 of spades.
one more hand, could've won another 25 had I played crazy, was against a known donkey, which is only reason I called river, I have AAKJ and raise pre end up heads up vs. the fool in his bb. Flop is A 10 9, I bet 3 into 4 and he calls, turn is 6, I bet 4.50 into 10 and he min raises me. River is a total brick 2 to which he fires 15 in and I insta call him and take it down when he shows A 10 10 3.

Pretty good session. It was a really good lineup at the table. Hotel Max, Arnold, John, Marty, Roger, aggressive Max, and a bunch a stations. Got off to a good start. Did not have any big hands. I didn't lose any big ones at all which was nice.
KhQh in the SB. Four to the flop. Ks9c7s. I bet $15. BB folds and another player who was very active min-raises to $30. Button folds and I call. I think he has a flush draw but we each have $500 and I don't like getting crazy with KQ. Turn is the Ac. I was planning on betting here, but that card sucks if he has ace rag flush draw. I check and he bets $25 into $75. He was such an active player and had been betting weak hands prior to here so I call. River is the 3h and I again check. He fires $50 into $125 and I call. He shows J9o.
2c2s on the button. Roger makes it $10 to go. Four to hte flop. 2dQh6d. Roger bets $20 and I raise to $60. John folds and another guy calls. Roger has $300 left and the other player has $80. Turn is the 8c and they both check. I bet $150 and the other player calls for $80 with Ad5d. Roger folds and I win a nice pot with a blank on the river.
I limped with AKo when I noticed aggro Max was going to raise. He made it $40. Marty and Arnold call and it is back to me. Max had $800 and Marty had $600. I really wanted to go to $200 here, but I just wasn't sure. I called and missed. It came out Jack high and Marty fired $100 to take it down.
I then hit three straight AK's with an ace or a king on the flop.
5c6c in the hijack. Davo raises early to $20 and the player to his right is all-in for $25. I call then John calls on the button and both blinds come along. Davo calls the $5 and the flop comes 9d10c5h. Checked to me and I bet out $40 into $150. Folds to Arnold who calls and then Davo folds. Turn is 8d. We both check. I am worried about QJ slighly. River is the 3s. Arnold checks to me. Arnold is a calling station and I don't think $100 here gets him off of a nine. I check and he has KQo. The all-in player has AK and I get another.

made a very bad mistake with QQ in the bb. this older guy raised to $15 and another guy reraised to $45 and i looked at his stack and he only had about $50 left. so i went allin for $200 to isolate against the shorter stack. the 1st raiser folded and the short stack went allin with his KK. but as it turned out, he wasnt a short stack. he had $200 in green chips on the other side of his stack where i couldnt see, so he had me covered and i busto. dumb dumb dumb. reload and was in the game for $500 total, so this loss isnt too bad

Long strenuous session. Was playing really well until I ran into Mike Mc. Built it up again. Got KK cracked. then tilted of $150, and then got up a little.
AcKc on the button. Loose Aggro guy raises to $7. I re-raise to $25 and he calls. Heads up to the flop of Ks4c5c. Sweet flop. He bets $20 and I call. Turn is the Qh. This card looked like it hit him. He fires out $40 into $93. I call here worrying that he has KQ. Luckily, the river brings a 9c. He again fires $40 and I raise $80 more into $253 and he folded showing KQ. The old suck re-suck.
10c10s in the cutoff. Five limpers to me. I make it $13 and four limpers come along for the ride. Flop is Kc9h7d. Everyone checks and I bet $25 into $53. Folds back to Mike Mc who raises to $75. I think here that Mike is good enough to try a play with J10 or QJ. He would have bet a King. He could have a set. I move all-in for his last $170 hoping if he played KQ or KJ he will fold here and I think I am good and that he is making a move. He insta-calls with AK. Why oh why did I do that?
AcAh under the gun and I limp. Tight little player, Carmine, three to my left raises to ten and it is folded back to me. I just call. Flop is 10c9c8h. I bet $15 and he makes it $30. He has $75 dollars left and I again call hoping to hit a blank and trap the him on the turn with his JJ, QQ, or KK. Turn is the 9c. So much for Plan A. I check and he follows. River is the As. So much for getting anything here. I bet $20 and he goes all-in with 1010. So sick. Whole table was in shock.
KcKs in the hijack. I am getting ready to leave up $250. Tight passive guy raises to $7. Awesome call station lady calls and I raise to $25. Both players call. Flop is Jc10s4c. Checked to me, and I fire $30 into $74. Original bettor min raises to $60 and I think he is feeling. Station calls and I make it $100 on top. He folds and she goes all-in for $10 more with the flush draw 5c6c. Turn is the Jc and I missed the river. $195 and a $484 pot down the drain. That tilted me so bad. So rare that I get tilted.
6h6d in the middle. This is one of the worst hands in recent memory. Makes me think of the Q5 debacle. This was the eighth time I had seen this hand. Under the gun makes it $10 and I call. Three more callers back to the BB who makes it $50. He has $100 left. I make a horrendous call. Another player calls and the SB goes all-in for $35 more. All three of us call. Flop is 5s7hJc. Well at least I have runner runner straight going. BB goes all-in for $65. I call and the last man goes all-in for $55. Turn is a 2 and the river is a nine. BB shows QQ and wins it all. $150 with two outs the whole way. Bravo Me!
10c10h in the middle. UTG +1 makes it $12 to go. He is tight and I think he may have a bigger pair. Four others and I call. Flop is 10d8d8h. UTG is first and he bets $50. I call and all others fold. Turn is a Qc and this card freezes him. Great. He has QQ. He bets another $50 and I min raise to $100 with another $120 behind me which he has covered and he moves all-in right there. I call and he shows JJ. Over card froze him thank goodness not the bigger boat. He misses the river and I am able to call myself a winner on the day.

$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
Had an okay session. I won two great pots with sets. Then I had a misplay and a misread.
Called a raise early with KdJd and hit JJ9 board. Really aggro guy goes all-in and I call. He did not show. Up $100 early which was good, but then I run into flopping three straight open enders and missing all of them. There goes my profit.
6d6s in the hijack. I limp and the button makes it $10 to go. Six players to the flop. Flop is Qs4c6c. Early position bets out $10 into $59 an I raise to $50 total. Original bettor calls and everyone folds. He starts saying "Did you trip those things?" Which I take for being super strong. QQ strong. Turn is the 8d. I check and am relieved when he checks behind. River is the 9h and I fire $100 which he called fairly quickly with KK.
QdJd in the BB. Middle position raises to $8. Cutoff calls. I call. Flop is Qh10c9c. Decent flop. I bet $16 and the original raiser makes it $40. Folded to me and I call. Turn is the 2d. I check and he fires $70 into $100. I think he has AQ or maybe an over pair. He has me covered and I am playing $500. I call. I am thinking he has AQ or an over pair. He could have a set. Not sure about KJ. I have played with him before and that is not in his raising range although I have never seen him with this many chips. I call. I should have re-raised the flop for information. River is an Ace and I pass on his $110 bet.
9d9h in the cutoff. I limp and the SB, crazy Tony, who wears the shades always, makes it $20 to go. Two players call to me and I call. Flop is Qs9c4h. Tony fires out $25. The BB goes all-in for $80 and the limper goes all-in for $100. I call and Tony folds. BB shows AhQh and the limper shows KcQd. I turn the quad and win a strange pot.
8c8s in the BB. One limper and the cutoff raises to $10. I re-raise to $32. The limper folds and the raiser calls. Flop is 3h3c3d. I am pretty sure I am way ahead and bet $30 into $63. He calls and I am thinking he could have 1010 or JJ. I don't think he calls with AK or overs. Turn is the Ks and I check. He bets $50 and I fold. He shows AsQh. I got out played.

crazy start to my session, I have AA double the very first hand I post my bb. It's raised and reraised into me. This is a deep stack game as well, so I have 100 in play, guy that 3 bet has about 62 in front of him, I make it 15 to go and he calls. The flop is 7 4 2, so I figure I can't really take my foot off the gas, so I bet 30, he raises all in and shows me 8 7 5 4 double suited (the same two I had for the record), so I wanted to puke of course, my full hand is AA 10 4, so I flop the 4 as well and then the dandy 10 peels off the turn giving me the lead and the river bricks out. Same guy two hands later I have AAQQ with nut hearts, it's raised by someone and he repops it, so again I make a big raise and he shoves over me for about 30 total and rolls over 4 5 6 7, the flop hits him pretty hard, 7 3 2 rainbow, but it comes running hearts to give me another big pot and a quick 100 start to the session.
pretty boring rest of session, only one other hand I wanted to think about. I can't believe that I don't win more when I find hands like this, I have AQJ10 in my bb, it's raised from middle postion, so I of course call it. Flop is A K 4, so I am pretty happy with it, I check and it's checked behind. The J peels right off for me but also makes flush draw possible so I pot it for 8 bucks and the opponent calls, the river is a total brick, I think a 7, so I put in 14 which is what the fool has left, he pays me off with AQ65, top pair top kicker, I should probably point out the flush draw on the turn was also not an option he had in hand, was a total gutterball only. I wouldn't have ever dreamed about paying 8 on the turn drawing like that, he didn't even improve and gave me another 14. Please let me keep running smooth.

$0.25 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 90 Players)
Wow! This MTT brought a lot of interesting turns - one being the fact I was down to 800 chips and 8 players left (the others all had well over 20000 chips), was able to bring my chip stack back up to 38000 from there, and just kinda grinded it out till I finished in 3rd. The bad part is the fact I folded so many nut hands over and over and over - even a straight flush, as well as a huge pot that the guy showed his 2/4 off suit bluff, I was so pissed, but rarely is anyone able to put me on tilt, so with my jaw clenched I started running the clock each and every hand - every single hand in a row, which is such a bogus thing to do to the rest of the players, but they dont give a rats ass about me so F-them, it proves to be a winning strategy for me! When the bluff shower went out I began to play in a regular timely manner, ultimately his bluff hurt him more than me. :) This is a tournament that I should have won by a landslide, but my tight style led to an early death. I'm realizing my primary mistake, again-and-again, is folding - not calling!
