kinda having some stress so questioned sitting down at all. got stuck a little bit early, then took AA vs. another AA and a donkey who got in with us holding J 10 9 9, the fool flops the flush draw on 8 4 2 flop and finds spades to drag a 150 buck pot. So I was down about 80, then I got tied into a couple consecutive hands holding nut spades and both times I drilled the flush vs. aggressive players. One time was a 4 way pot with about 40 in on turn when I hit it, didn't want to mess around so potted and drug it. Other one I am all over the flop with pair and str. draw...I drill flush on river and bet 19 into about 45 and get call...guy had 3rd nut flush, so wondering how much he pays off there...I probably left a few chips on the table. Anyway, hit those two to get winner and sprinted for the cashout button!

Just felt the need to move up from 1c-2c even though technically not rolled for it. Was up more but near then end had to make a big lay down with AA. I have to be running waaay below EV with AA and KK. It's kind of sick really.
Anyway, kind of amazing overall how good players are at this level. Considering this is the lowest of the low stakes, people have a general decent understanding of TAG play. I still feel I have a decent edge, but players are ok instead of terrible like I assumed they would be when I started playing cash. Might start playing more 6-handed as the full ring is bound to be attracting more nits. We'll see.

Most important things in cash games
In cash games, I think the most important things are as follows in order;
- bankroll management
- always playing regarding the EV
- reading the tells well and bluffing
For the 1st to the 3rd, if you do not succeed in the previous one(s), the rest does not matter. For example, if you can perfectly read the tells but you have very bad bakroll management and you do not care about the EV, you lose in the long term.
For example, take Tom Dwan, he always starts a sessoin with nearly 1/15 of his entire bankroll, never more. He sometimes loses a million in a few day, but it does not matter, 14/15 of his money is still with him. Also, he usually plays regarding the EV, does not bet when he has odds for winning %45 or less. And being the third, he reads the opponents well.
I have failed so much at the first one, and also at the second one. Also I very often was on tilt.

I have registered to a new poker room, Juicy Stakes poker. Also, I play on Aspinalls Poker. I have heard that on cake network, only one room allowed for rake back, I hope raketherake.com and the room accepts my rakeback deal for Juicy Stakes Poker. Otherwise, I plan to play on Aspinalls and Cake poker.

Got knocked out holding AA. Should have folded in the face of three clubs on the flop, but bet heavily trying to steal pot. In the end it was a full house, not a flush that won the hand.
Lesson: There are times when one must fold AA, not matter how tempting it is to stay in the hand. It's not the ultimate hand!

was all over the place this session...up 120, stuck 100, up 100, stuck 140, was down about 100 right before I quit and I picked up up AA with 2 pot raises in front of me, so I shoved (and they were trashy AA83 rainbow), and they stood up to get me about even. The hands that actually killed me was AA as several times I would repop someone and get called then check raised on the flop, at which point I was often committed. I feel like I ran into 2 pair a ton, never was a draw. After that happened a few times I really tried to only play AA when it was a very well connected hand for a big pot. Anyway, I am sure this was huge for affiliate, so can't complain, was happy to grind back to the neighborhood of even. Had my favorite beat in my favor again today...flop bottom vs. middle set and river quads...another guy raised from bb with two pair, I gotta start expecting that play...he had 9977. Seems like a lot of people like that move there.

nice bounceback from yesterday. was all over the place in this one. got up about 110 early on, then was stuck about 40. the hand that butchered me, I have random garbage on the button with nut clubs, the flop is 8 5 2 with 2 clubs, I also flop bottom 2. the bb had raised preflop...it's checked around to me with 4 way action so I pot it for 10...the bb instantly pots over me to 40, I have about 80 in play. I can't imagine what he raised with here that would beat me, and I have to be either drawing live or am good, so I shove it, and he calls and shows 8833, wow man, really? Anyway, I brick out and that's what cost me my win. I was grinding for a good hour hovering around even, but finally woke up with a hand. I have trash in bb, with nut hearts, someone min raises it and I of course call. I flop the mortals on a 3 4 8 flop, all hearts. I check it, preflop bets, another guy calls, so I insta pot it, would've been happy to get the 12 bucks or whatever that was in there. The raiser folds, but the button calls. The turn is a brick 7, I shove and get called by 4 4, the J peels the river and I drag about a 120 buck pot. Hit a few other decent wins, mostly vs. short stacks that didn't seem to mind shoving into my top set with one pair.

lol...sat down for 10 more minutes with Ryan and won one nice pot.
I was BB. MP limped. CO made it .40. I called with AsQh. Limper called too. 1.25 in the pot.
Flop came Qd 6s 2s. I checked. MP checked. CO bet 1.00. I called and MP folded. 3.25 in the pot.
Turn was Qc and I checked. CO bet 2.25. and I called. 7.75 in the pot.
River was 2c. Not the greatest card cuz I might be splitting w/ KQ and QJ now if those were in this guy's range. I bet about 4.50 and he called and mucked. He had KK....lucky me but I like the way I played the hand regardless.

$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (245th out of 8914 Players)
The 8 hours are for my whole day's worth of tourneys. I satty'd into this tourney so it was a dollar buy in but I was free-rolling.
Played a very big bvb coinflip. If I could have won that hand I woulda had 200k at 2k-4k blinds. This is a sick tournament. Has an overlay every day and tons of people that qualified to play for free so very soft. Just so many people that I feel like I have run pretty good in this twice and gotten 216 (I think) and 245.....It would basically be the equivalent of winning the lotto lol.

$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (221st out of 1116 Players)
Got it in with KQ on a Q77 board against AK and flush draw and he got there. Oh well.
Also, interesting spot. I was big blind with Qh2h. MP limps. LP limps. I check. Flop is Th 2s 5s. Checks around. Turn is a 2c. I lead out and MP calls. I thought he had a flush draw at this point as I assumed he would bet a T on the flop. Also small chance he could have 55 imo. River is 3d. I lead out about half pot for value and he ships quickly. First thing I thought was A4 with the spade draw and he hit the straight. Also could be the 55 filling up. Couldn't figure out how he could be bluffing b/c it seems so possible I could have a 2 in the blinds. I thought for a while and folded. Maybe should have called...don't know.

tired after one job on way to practice and then other job, so had no business playing but wanted to get my points for the day. one of first hands it's my sb vs. bb, I have A J J 10 and limp, he raised I call...flop is A 7 8, so I peel off and find the yahtzee 9 on turn, I check raise and he shoves over for 50 and rolls over 8 9 9 J with spade draw and finds the flush on me. Then I really started playing way too many hands after that and really self inflicted this loss. Very disappointed in how I played today.
