$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
the situations i put myself in the past two days and the money lost is not a coincidence - granted i wasnt hitting any cards - still playing too many hands - honestly was doing fine until the last hour i was losing the whole time but my cards were yielding shit n i didnt really drop the ball until the last few hands just got so delirious n went on tilt worse than I ever have on 2-5 - completely lost control
sad to say but my game has gone to hell recently - not in the right physical and mental state to maximize my time and money invested - seriously lacked discipline

September 26, 2011, 6PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $41.00 at Sycuan Poker Room
$2/4 Texas Hold'em
It's been a while since I've played at Sycuan. I was reminded and reassured how bad players are. A few situations came up and I wanna go over them.
There was a spot when I had 78 on the button andi limped in along with 5 other limpers. I wanted to play hands like these to loosen up my style. The flop came out 556, and it got checked around. The turn came a 6. I then now decided to bet my draw. That was a poor decision. 1 caller. The river came a Queen and I ended up betting representing A high, that was another poor decision because if someones calling that turn bet they more than likely are gonna be to stubborn to fold any river.

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
First buy in went all in on a AJ10 board with AQ, got called by K10, turn an fing 10...140 dollar bot switch. he was short stack so i had 50 left. then went broke on J high board, i check raised a donk chick that was a luck box. she put me all in I called with KJ, she had K9 turn blank river a 9!
Second buy in had QQ utg, limped, board came 10 7 5 two clubs. i bet 12 one guy called. turn came an 8 i checked he fired 40, after talking to him I got a read he was bluffing and try to play the scared card. I check raised all in for 50 more on top he snap called with 97. River was a 6 for his straight!!! 210 pot his way...
Im ready to run good now!!!

$2/4 Texas Hold'em
Played in a Casino for the first time in about 2-3 months. I decided to go last minute on a Sunday evening, thinking it would be poppin', but I was completely wrong. I didn't make it onto the main game after an hour of being there, and I decided to call it quits once it was 6-handed.
I learned a lot just off that one hour session. I was reminded on how bad people are in live-play. I witnessed a lot of crazy moves/action. I only saw one decent player at my table. Any way it was nice to finally get my foot back in the door.

$50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (8th out of 1678 Players)
ahhhh, so close to some real money. first was 20k. and i got bad beat. i was crippled when my AK lost to A2d allin preflop. damn. i managed to avoid all bad beats for 2 days until i made it to the final table. and never put my money in behind one time all tourney...damn i played so well. picked my spots perfectly. well timed bluffs. wa able to get away from some big hands too. slow down when i knew bluffing wouldnt win. very happy with the way i played. just wish i had the results to back it up. but considering i havent played a tourney in about 9 months, this is pretty darn good.

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
JJ on the hijack and raise to $18 with 2 limpers ahead of me. cutoff aka "the professional" calls, blinds fold, utg and middle pos call. 4-way action Q-J-9 FLOP with a heart draw. check to me and i make it $35. cutoff and utg call. A on TURN but not a heart. utg checks to me and i make it $50 with only $35 more behind. "the professional" calls with his remaining $7 and utg puts me all-in for the rest of my chips. i prayed for the board to pair and the RIVER came a blank 4. i show my JJ, utg shows his 99, and cutoff folds what i believe to be a draw hand. #shipit

$2 No-Limit Dealer's Choice
Games were omaha high and hold'em. BB had been re-raising to around $80 almost every time someone raised. Utg +1 raises to 10 and I decide to flat with KK on the button, small blind flats bb folds. Flop comes Ks 2d 6h. Sb checks raiser bets $15 and with the board texture I decide to flat again sb also calls. Turn is 9c checks to me so i value bet $25and get two calls. River comes 7s checks again to me so I again value bet $25. Small blind rivered a set of 7s and shoved. Obviously I snap called.

September 11, 2011, 5AM: Played 6 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $140.00 at The Bike
$1/2 Texas Hold'em
Started the night off strong bought in for $120 went up $300+ was planing on getting on the table once blinds came to me cause i started playing loose. Right before i felt i get dealt JJ UTG eventually donked off $95-105 JJ vs KK on the turn my set vs his straight. Then took my estimated $100+ profit to the $100-$300 game and within the 20min or so i run into Jj's 10s vs my 77s on a 622 flop so ended donate $100 to Jj once again (never playing with Jj on the 2-3 game until i build my bank roll). Then being on tilt after the 1-3 game and 2-3 game i decided to play the $50 midnight tourny which i specialize in and just my luck my KK vs QQ goes all in preflop after big stack raises flop comes BLANK BLANK BLANK turn Q river Q for QUADS!!! Then went back to the $80 to grind more but got no where!!!

$85 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 69 Players)
stayed relatively quite. until 3rd round i flop a set of 9s against a preflop raise. i get him all in with his over pair and nearly double up. then i had began losing some chips both with missing my big hands and bad bluffs. i get down to about 7k in chips in the 6th level starting was 7500. i try to pick up a steal and get 2 callers for 1200 i flop a flush 1 check I bet 2 both call turn is a blank check i check button shoves other guy calls and i call for less and i triple up there neither one even had a diamond so both drawing dead. i keep at or just above chip level most of tourney. i drop a little with about 18 left. then start stealing some blinds and i get kk and double up against a top pair top kicker flop. then i start stealing the blinds and antes as we near the bubble it pays 9 and there is typically a 10 spot bubble pay as well. then a big hand player goes all in for 16k i have about 50k and big stack has about 80k i just call. big stack and bb calls blinds are 8 1600 with 300ante. i have pocket 7s i check the flop bb kh 2h 10c makes it 10k i call turn is a 8h one i check he bets 10 again. i decide to call just too much invested and i have the 7h i dont believe he has a flush draw and presume he has a decent hand now where on the flop i thought he was trying to isolate. river is a 10h i bet my remainder calls and shows A 10 no heart so i win the side and all in guy has 88 for a boat and wins the main. i get to have a comfortable chip count and table lead. we get down to 10 and i am 3rd in chips i say lets just take 10 out each and pay 10th place. all agree we lose one i try to chop but guy to my left has decent chips says he wants the pride of playing not the money and wont chop. he ends up leaving in 7th. we get down to 6 i offer the big stack a chop guy to my left of 1000 we split rest 500 each he doesnt agree. i build up my chips and become a pretty big chip leader with 4 left i offer another chop he almost agrees and changes mind this time i get 1000 and they each get 7 he refuses then as well. i continue to run over the table we get down to 3 they can both hurt me with a double up i offer 1 last chop they each get 800 and ill take the rest 1175 they agree but the one guy wants to put 100 each and play for that so i said sure i bust him out after like 40 min when he raises my bb and i have qq he bets flop of 8 high i call he shoves turn i call he shows j 8 and doesnt get 2 pair. other guy doesnt have much for chips but was playing really tight and slow a lost some pots to him earlier where he didn't reraise me when he straight turn and 2nd nut flush on river with no one left to act so had a hard time putting him on hands. should have just shoved again and again and won his 100 but immediately suggested i take the other guys 100 he keeps his and he was quick to oblige

$125 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (25th out of 50 Players)
felt pretty good. wasn't getting much for cards but making the best of it still growing my stack to keep up with the avg. an early position raises it to 1600 blinds 200 400 25 i call near button with 6s7s no one else calls flop 7h 7d 4s i bet out 2k he calls turn is a 5s i have him on a decent pair so i check to induce a bet. he shoves i snap call of course with 3 7s and an open ended straight flush draw. he shows AsQs and he rivers the Js for a bigger flush. (bs) that cripples me and im forced to make some moves with only about 2bbs left. i get called and lose.
