$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

table was full of rocks and nut players, so i adjusted my style a bit and became looser and more liberal with my hands selection and raises. so i started off by bluffing and getting called down. i didnt even show, just mucked and i lost about $100 on the hand, half my stack. so i reloaded for another $200. won a decent pot with A4c when i caught runner runner clubs. then we started a mandatory button straddle, which really livened up the game, cuz people actually started trying to play instead of sittin back and waiting. so with to limpers, i make it $25 with QQ, 4 people call, then greg, one of the limpers, moves allin for about $120. he has aces, so i fold. 3 hands later, on my straddle, 3 limpers, i make it $30 more with AK. doddy limped from sb calls. flop KJ7. he check calls my $60 bet. turn is a 2. i bet $150. he calls pretty quickly, which i dont like. river is another 2. check it down. he claims KQ. i win a nice pot. picked up a few small pots here and there. later, justin straddles for $13. camper raised to $30. i decide to take flop with 24d. 3 others call. flop 683, 2 diamonds. camper bets $60 into $150 pot. i call. justin moves in for $23 more. we call. turn is a 4. camper checks and even though i improved my hand, i know that i'm still second best, maybe 3rd best, and i cant bet out justin. either i hit and have the best hand or i dont hit and dont lose anymore money. so i check behind. river is a diamond. camper checks again. i wont get a call out of him, so i check with best hand. he had queens. very nice pot. good win.

$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (37th out of 369 Players)

$1+...I am in for $3.

2nd break and i have 10k with the blinds to be about 200-400.  I have lost big pots with KK, AK, and AK again over the last hour so I am glad to be back to 10k but I need to keep accumulating to have a shot at the final table.

AA twice in the last orbit and couldn't get any action :(.....Make that 3 times...without action on these hands I got really short and got it in with T9spades and lost.  Pretty happy with my play but action on all of my AA's coulda made for a big score

$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (131st out of 342 Players)

Very frustrated in how I went out here..

Ave stack is about 3K, I have 5K.  Blinds are around 100/200.  Early position players moves all in for 1.5K, then a cold caller of 1.5K, then another player moves in for 3K.  I look down at KK and I move in for 5K.  The only other player left with chips has 1.5K in the pot, he is holding A9 and has to call off his remaining 3K.  He does and is the one to win the whole pot.  Was up against 44, A9 and 77.  I'm just not sure how the A9 gets invoved in the hand to begin with, then when it is clear he is smoked he still puts his chips in the pot.  Oh well.

$3 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 103 Players)

This sucked but was fun.  1st only gets a $650 seat, 2nd-14 get a whole $35.  I was surprised I got down to final table.  Then battled my ass off 3 handed for a long while.

Chips where, me 100K, toughy on my right 300K and my nemesis on my left 200K.

Again, my play was great but I'm feeling weak.  Not raising my button enough with anything out of fear.  Limping too much in the SB instead of raising, out of fear again.  Letting the SB steal my BB too often, out of fear.

I had NOTHING to loose, should not have had fear.  The guys with the chip lead should have feared doubled my ass up.  I'm going to play a single table tourney here soon, get down to 3 handed and play like a complete asshole just to see how it works ;)

I did however get unlucky twice in a row, my last two hands.  SB vs BB, I flop a pair and a flush draw vs BB's pair and a straight draw, after betting he moves, I call, he is dead to 14 outs and hits.  Had that won it would have been me 200K to right guys 300K.  Then next hand I pick up A2s vs BBs K8 off.  He busts me.

I am better than that, I should have check called flush and pair and not put the BB in "attack" mode.  Whatever, I'm happy, doing great, feeling good.

Think i am playing ok for horse and probably almost for sure better than everyone at the table with the exception of maybe one player but i can't get my big hands to hold up....and the nut low counterfeited in a huge pot and ended up losing a little there.....missed in razz with A235...and lost a pot with AA in holdem...i guess i should be glad i am still in but i don't even really know how to evaluate how i am playing cuz i am just not very good at these games.

Wow.  I limp on the button after about 3 limps in front of me with KQ.  Flop comes 9TJ two spades.  SB bets min and they ALL call and I decided to raise a little to juice the pot before shoving if the turn comes a blank.  They all call and the turn comes an offsuit 7...best card in the deck i just gotta hope someone has an 8.  SB leads out, I shove he calls with 89 spades and I can't fade a spade...when he called i had to wait for the others to fold before seeing his hand but its sick how sure i was that he had 8x of spades and that the spade would hit.  oh well two tourneys tonight where i played well but just ran into the nuts

$3 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (25th out of 108 Players)

Forgot to take the add-on like a donkey.

1-15th get paid, 1st gets a $650 seat.  I am done for the night after this.

Doing great, 4 times the average.  Had solid stack. Then get outran bad.  Guy on right raise, I just call with JJ, flop is xxx all hearts below an 8.  I have heart.  I know he has Ax or a smaller pair so I let him bluff off his stack.  On flop he bets, I just call, turn is another x, he bets again.. now I push him in or wait.. raise now.  He calls with TT no heart.  Drawing dead to ONE FUCKING ten left in the deck.  It is found.  I have 364 chips left.

I grind that up to 5K somehow! Then.. same shit, move in and get stomped by A-x cracking my KK.

I'm trying really trying not to be a whining complaining baby but.. it is becoming very difficult :)

Part of the game, deal with it, move on, keep my head up.

November 7, 2007, 6PM: Played 1 hour, 6 minutes, Made $24.00 at Poker Stars
$3 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 107 Players)

I'm fucking furious beyond beief.  Top two get $650 seat packages, 3rd gets a whole fucking $33 or some shit.

Get down to final table and I am top 3, get down to 5 handed and I am chip leader.

Get down to 4 handed, still chip leader.

Then the agro fuck head on my right goes crazy, going all in whenever he plays a hand.  Chips at this point are about, me 250K, agro 50K, rock 200K, other rock 200K.
So total of 700K

After we bust the 3rd player we are now sitting at, me 200K, rock 200K and all-in agro 300K.

Everyone tried busting him a few times but he just slipped away, no matter what the fuck he had or what the flop was.  It was unbelievable.  I was going out of my mind, like one hand, QQK flop, he has K4 or some crap and against AQ, they go all in and he spikes a King.

Anyways, once we are 3 handed I have the agro on my right.  Someone has to give right? The rock ALWAYS folded his SB to the rocks BB.  So no matter what work I do on him he gains the blinds and SB, he can sit there all fucking night like this.  So I figure.. go after the rock.  Well, I can only do this from my SB and his BB, so now I am out of position but can chip away.  The problem is my BB.. either the rock raised 4xs the BB if not the agro would just go all in from the SB more than half the time.  So no one is leaning on the agro.. leaving me in horrible position with the rock.  Especially since the agro is coming after me in my BB.

It sucked, the agro could keep parlaying his gain at me from the Rock folding his SB to him.  I tried playing that same game, folding my SB to the BB so the chips would just circulate.  But that was impossible and I would lose them fast as the agro would attack me more from his SB.  After about 15 minutes of playing like this I obviously figured out I was their target to bust.  They both rarely got into hands together.  It was just auto folding.  I purposely folded my button like 5 times in a row to see if they would battle.  Rock in SB folded every fucking time! My button was tough as well.  Half the time if I played it agro would fire back all in and I'd lose my raise.  A few times SB would call, then I'd continuation bet flop and he would play back more than half the time.  I felt like I was just sticking my neck out too much for them.

I was at a loss.  Play out of position against rock, or call one of agro's all-in's for my tourney life.  Those were my chioces.

Card-wise.. didn't matter.  Never had a hand until my last which was TT from the button.  Rock in SB calls my pretty much all-in raise with KQ and I go broke.

Looking back.. I don't know how I could have played better.  Maybe taking my chances more from the button would have done it.  It seem impossible though when the other two players take it easy on eachother and gun for you.  I'm at a loss, usually of shorthanded I'm excellent at 3 players.

Another question, how do you combat an all-in agro asshole donkey? I mean, if you raise from button and his BB he would go all-in, when just blind vs blind, he in small, he would go all-in way way too much.  He barely had me covered at 1st then had double my stack eventually.
Guess whomever is all-in 1st wins the pot unless the other has AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK, AQ??
