Well what poker is

I know you sometimes see the same people sitting at the final tables at a main event or a circuit event. But I've been playing for three years and it all comes down to the luck. The last 3 live poker tournaments around my area I have been in I have survived up until the final 2 tables and have gone in with Trips (8's, Q's) and a straight and the guy always makes a flush on the river. When I hit the trips, i bet the flop and they called. Turn is a blank, then I move all in that is about 15 grand (90% of his stack) he probably has in 10% of his stack and I know that hes on the draw) and he calls and he hits.
 
I know its bad beat stories, but it happens to me all the time. How am I suppose to make a profit!! Ahh!! haha..... will someone please help me through this!

$3 Turbo. I like these, not to expensive and does not last long at all. Got screwed again.

KK vs AQ on the flop was J 6 Q then a J came and then Q came to give him the full house. Im tired of losing this way on this site.

$11 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament

Got down to 700 and went all in with Pocket 10's and got called by K10. He hit a King on the flop (go figure) and i got beat. Like i said in my previous log, in with the best hands and get screwed once again by Full tilt poker.

July 7, 2007, 11PM: Played 2 hours, 27 minutes, Made $56.00 at FTP
$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Patient, Limped in with suited connecters and suited cards. Waited for my big hands. Played agressive when I hit. Was at 115, 3 bad beats later I am left with $72.00. I took my money and ran.
 
Every tournament for the past month I've been in on Full tilt poker ($26 dollar Garuantees) i go in with the best hand every single time and get out flopped and rivered. I have probably played about 12-15 tournaments and every time its the same thing. Im motivated, get big chip stack and get screwed everytime. Maybe tournaments arn't for me?
