September 17, 1997, 12AM: Played 3 hours, Lost $50.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

I was in control at the beginning, but tired out early.  I had $120 when Brent and Joe checked out, then I really fucked up -- I stayed.  I wanted to wait out the bonus for an hour, but I wasn't really off for two hours.  Then I really should've checked out when I had $100 later on, but I still didn't know when I was off the bonus.  My play got worse, and with 15 minutes left, I had $70.  I should've used lobby time at that point, but didn't, and lost it all in some extremely bad play.  3 chances, 3 strikes, you're out.  Don't ever have to learn that lesson again.

September 1, 1997, 12AM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Made $30.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Omaha Hi-Lo

Won at the mornign bonus.  Had a great hand when the action got loose.  Lucky, actually.  KXXX in my hand, KXX on the flop, which I paid 12 to see.  I say, "King!", King hits, I bet, everyone folds, $120 pot.  High point was $150, cashed out at $120.  Threw some away at the end because I was about to leave.  Lost another 40 later that day at Ocean View.  Can't figure that game out.  Also tied for 6th at the tourney a few days ago.  Won $142.50, and it was lots of fun.  Play tight in tournaments.
