November 18, 1997, 12AM: Played 3 hours, Lost $50.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

For the first time ever (I think) I lost because I played too tight.  I threw away some winners early that I could've called with the cards I had.  I need to end my Ocean View jinx.  I've realized that I need to learn to play better from behind.  If you need to call with a draw, and you don't make it, take an early exit from the cardroom if you have to.  It's still debatable, though.  Do you go in with a draw that isn't the nut? So learn to play the same game ahead or behind.  Hold the good draws.

November 13, 1997, 12AM: Played 2 hours, Made $54.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Omaha Hi-Lo

Played really good, but should've hit and run when I was up 130.  Lots of things made me stay (I had only been there an hour), but the fact is that I wanted to leave.  This guy was really pissed at me when he thought we were working together and that half the pot was his when I made Kings full.  It was bullshit, but was part of what made me stay.  I'm actually pretty mad because I lost 50 in the last three hands.  I don't feel like there was a whole lot I could've done at that point though.  Should've left earlier.
