October 20, 1998, 12AM: Played 4 hours, Lost $60.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

60 for 30 bonus again today at Ocean View.  I'm convinced I'm in a bad run of cards because I'm pretty sure I've not won a hand with a boat at all in the last three sessions.  Made a lot of good folds today, but I wonder if I was trying too hard to protect my ships when faced with decision on middle-of-the-road draws.  I just need to be patient, I think.  I'm pretty damn sure I'm a better-than-average poker player, if not a good poker player.  I can beat these guys -- I know it, and I think that they're good players.

October 8, 1998, 12AM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $60.00 at Ocean View
$2/4 Texas Hold'em

60 for 30 at the morning bonus at Ocean View.  Lost it by being ante-d to death...really frustrating to lose without making any mistakes.  Did notice my concentration slipped a couple times, but it didn't cost me.  That's all there is to say except damn it!
