$10 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 10 Players)
What a grind -- we were 7-handed at 2/400 blinds, and 6-handed at 3/600. Anyways, made a pretty bad raise from early position with A8o -- got called by AQo.

First thing I tried to do was run a big bluff early. I figure I should stop doing that because I never see the good players on this site say "tried to bluff early and croppled myself". Well, I got back to normal stack and picked up AJ, flopped an A, went all in, and A2 calls me. 2 hits river so here I am in 9th place :(.

Five-handed, table was very tight -- no preflop raising, so I raise w/ A2o and get called. Flop is TJA, so I bet pot and get raised all-in by biggest stack and the only player who shows any signs of looseness. I call and he turns over QK. I might have been able to get away from that one, but I was feeling very distracted.

Did not play very well. I could have saved some chips early that may have helped me outlast the 4-handed action. Paying attention to players really helps. In one hand, I get re-raised on flop and, realizing that the person is fairly tight, I fold. Next hand I get re-raised by a loose player (especially preflop), so I feel OK calling...turned out to be 6s6h vs. my AsQs (which I hit at 47%), but it felt good to be basing these decisions one after the other on the other player, rather than just my cards.
