June 14, 2008, 8AM: Played 12 hours, Made $920.00 at Lucky Lil's - Butte
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

This game was sick.. guy on my right bought in $1500.. said he would loose this an leave.. well, another $4000 and 12hrs later he leaves.

I had never played like such a rock in my life.  I had Joe, an aggressive strong post player on my left and check raise all-in on the flop boy on my right.

So it was a perfect scenerio.. Joe would usually bet the flop.. feild would call, donk would move all in and I hadn't put in one chip yet.

Funny hand here.. feild calls pre.. donk makes it $50 to go.. I put him all in for another $120 or so.. folds around to him and he thinks about it.  Since I was hammering him all night I show him my KK and will be happy earning the $70 in there.  He then turns his hand up, the old 92 off and calls off another $120, I bust him and he buys another 1K.  Unbelievable action this guy was.

*key notes.. Folded a ton of JQs, KJs, AJ, pair 2-8s pre which most would have lost.  The game was not good to play these hands as most pots were over-raised pre and multi-way.

June 13, 2008, 8AM: Played 9 hours, Made $890.00 at King Pin
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Disguisting game.. played like a rock.

Only started with $200 and never looked back.

Key pots where KK twice agianst the same player.  He could not fold the 1st time on the turn and I *could have* bet more.. knowing this the second time I just over bet the pot and put him all-in on the turn.. Board was KJxx and he called off his stack with AQ!!!

June 12, 2008, 1AM: Played 3 hours, 22 minutes, Broke Even at Lucky Lil's - Butte
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Broke even here.. that is like a win..

Started off great.. up about $60.. then the donk bad beat me, gave it to everyone else and went broke.

Game starting falling apart.. choice - gamble short with game about to break any second or take break even.. choose the smart route..

Stopped here from San Francisco as it breaks up the drive AND I love the Chinese food late at night :)

Told myself as soon as I was done eating I'd finish the round no matter what then go to bed.. which I did.

June 8, 2008, 6PM: Played 1 hour, 10 minutes, Lost $26.00 at Full Tilt
$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (78th out of 90 Players)

Turbo, 90 max, bounty.. not my cup of tea..

Got tricked when I raise pre late with AQ.. flop Q72, I bet out and got one caller, rainbow flop so was like, "wtf is he calling with?".

Turn a 7 and I let a card come off, river a 3 and he checks again...  I decide to value bet and he shoves all in.  Me thinking he is thinking I am bluffing with Ace high I call and see the 73 off for a full house.  Oops!
Did not have to value bet nor call, just was suprised that after the failed check raise on the turn the player had the disaplin to go for the river check raise.

June 8, 2008, 6PM: Played 9 hours, Lost $570.00 at Casino San Pablo
$6/12 Texas Hold'em

Less then 3 racks lost for a 3/6 chip game..

Bad but not terrible, frustrating as all hell.

Had every player pegged.  Was cold as ice.. fold fold fold fold.. then pick up a hand, get it crushed, back to fold fold fold, pick up a hand.. miss, fold fold fold.. this cycle never ended the whole session until I "fabricated a rush".

Was frustrated, the typical hand taking down pots was 82s or J3 off etc.. so on the button I limped with 79s.. the BB raised, 7 callers, I 3 bet, gets capped, flop a str8 draw and flush draw and I never missed a bet or raise.. turn brick and I still capped it.. nailed the river to scoop a big pot.. I proceeded to play the next 3 hands in a row like this, never backing off, until I finally lost the 4th hand.

This was very out of playing character for my table image but I didn't give a shit at this point.  The 2nd and 3rd hands that won were 94 off, which made trips on a flop of QJ9 turn 9 river x and Q2s with flop of K39 two diamonds turn a diamond for flush.

After this BS rush I returned to being cold as ice.. in retrospect this *should have* been the time to get up and take my small loss of $200ish.

Frustrating that no matter what I did or how well you played nothing would work, but it happens.
