August 19, 2006, 7PM: Played 4 hours, Made $170.00 at Petrakis House
Free-Roll No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 20 Players)

Another fun night at the Petrakis'. Finally placed in this no-limit, no-skill required game. Reading people at this game is impossible, when they don't know what blinds are, or what there chips are worth, let alone what justifies a good hand. One bright spot, I had 79d in late position so I called the big blind of $50. He checks and the flop comes K77, so I check raise all the way through the hand and were both all in at the river(oh, this is the first hand at the final table). Turn and river were QT. He shows 55 in his hand. This put me in great position, from this point on I just bullied the table. At the end I had about 2/3 the chips, and decided to play 1 hand winner takes 1st, got rivered and placed 2nd. Fun night.

June 24, 2006, 11PM: Played 5 hours, Lost $260.00 at Napa Valley Casino
$3/6 Omaha Hi-Lo

Still learning this game, Jessie's helping, but it's still very complex. Got rivered a lot, but I guess that happens. Can't wait till Jess gets back to go again.

June 24, 2006, 7PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $30.00 at Petrakis House
$30 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (11th out of 20 Players)

Always have fun, but it seems I don't play well against beginners. Well better to say bigger donkeys than I. Lost to a set of tens, to my 2 pair(with no bet or raise from the set once), so I thought I had it. Oh well, it's all in fun.

First time with hi low omaha.  Like the game a lot.  I'm good at getting nothing, I took the low a lot.
