$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (87th out of 203 Players)

I am MP with 1400 at 30-60 blinds.  UTG+2 raises to 180.  I reraise to 490 with AK.  Guy on my immed. left shoves for 1780.  Guy immed on his left calls lol!.  Initial raiser folds and now I am facing a call of my 910 chips into a 4320 pot.  As you guys have said lately on some of my posts (and jaspinal and I talked about today)...these players kinda suck and I give them too much credit a lot of times....so in a spot where I have to call regardless I called here not even as worried as I normally would have been and sure enough they have 77 and 88...wow what a good spot! bricked out though.

April 9, 2008, 2AM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Made $7.60 at Full Tilt
$1 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (15th out of 860 Players)

Key Pot #1
AK vs. AQ….I hold to double early on.

Key Pot #2
AJ v A2.…I lose to go right back to my orig. stack (all in pre…blind v blind battle)

Key Pot#3
Aqs….9x bb…MP standard raise, I ship on button, SB reships…MP folds…I hit A on turn vs. SB’s KK.  I win.

Key Pot #4
I raise from MP with AA.  BB calls with Q9 spades.  Flop is T 6 5 two spades.  He leads for 240 into a 900 pot.  Instead of reraising half my stack and being committed anyways I just shove to 1) look weak and 2) get a call from a hand that may slow down if a bad card for him hit’s the turn.  He calls I dodge his spades.

Key Pot #5
I raise standard from MP with AA (80-160 to 450).  Button shoves for 5k?! I call he has KK (finally that way around).  I hold.

Key Pot #6
I got moved to a table that with 6 tables left had the top 4 chip leaders in the tournament! I blinded down and had to really look for a strong hand because I had almost no FE against those players.  With 500-1000 blinds and a 125 ante I found AQ o in MP and shoved.  The button called and so did the BB.  The checked it down on a AJJ34 board and showed T8 and 99 and I tripled to 35k.

Key Pot #7
Still stuck with all the chip leaders and I have blinded down again.  Both because I have been card dead and there have been very few spots to steal with the big stacks raising each other every hand.  I still feel good; we’ll see what happens I have about 14xBB.  I busted a short stack with 77 to chip up to 30k after sliding.

Key Pot #8
I have 27k at 1k-2k blinds.  I shove with JJ in MP.  It folds around to the BB who calls with AJ.  I hold and climb to a little over 50k.

Key Pot #9
Guy UTG shoves for 35k at 1200-2400 blinds…it was the same guy who doubled me up a few minutes before and he had been playing a little reckless since that hand.  I had JJ in the CO and decided to shove for my 50k to isolate.  I have just barely 20xBB at this point and really think his range was AJ+ and 99+.  This obviously leaves me right in the middle of having this be a good call or not and am not exactly sure right now.  If he makes a standard raise I definitely shove though.  Anyways, unlucky for me the button re-shoves.  UTG flips up QQ and the button had AK.  The AK hit and busted us both so I at least moved up to the next pay spot at 15th.  The action behind me doesn’t really bother me because 95% of the time I am going heads up.  My biggest question is on whether or not my call of the guy UTG was right.  I really am not sure.  Anyways, sucks to get that close but it does feel good to run pretty well and get pretty deep.

$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (49th out of 213 Players)

Key Pot #1
Folded for the first hour.  Have 2060 at 80-160.  UTG raises to 500.  CO calls.  I shove with AK for the 2060 from the button.  Both call.  UTG has AQ.  CO has KJ.  I hold.

Key Pot #2
UTG limps at 120-240.  I raise to 750 with AA.  Folds back to UTG and he calls.  Flop is J82 rainbow.  He checks.  I bet 1500 into 2020.  He check-raises all in and I call.  He has QJ and I hold to get to 13k.

Key Pot #3
I raise from CO with 44 to 900.  Button raises to 2400.  SB calls.  With over 6k in the pot, I need to call 1500 more and each of these guys has me covered.  Obv if I miss I am done and still have 10k in chips at 150-300.  If I hit I am sure I will have one of these guys more than double me.  Flop comes J42 two spades.  Check, Check over to the preflop reraiser.  He moves in for 12k into a 8k pot.  SB calls and I call.  I call because the button’s range is almost every single hand he reraises with and the SB can call here with AJ, QQ, KK, AA and maaaybe AK spades.  Well turns out the SB does have the JJ and that’s it for me.  Coulda had almost 30k in chips at 150-300...woulda been nice.

$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (29th out of 65 Players)

Had an unbelievably super-aggro chip leader at my table...raised about 90% of the hands.  He was calling 50xbb allins pre with A6o.  I shove the button for 18xbb (he was in the BB) with QQ trying to make sure I get him to call....he did and flipped up KK.

sigh, had AA 2x and KK once...all three times I had no takers pre...but everytime i raise standard and miss with AK (3 times) there are 2-3 callers and I can't do anything but give up...therefore, i get short and run into AA to lose again
