Decided to ram off some NL tourney chips. Playing in this tourney reminded me of why I don't like NL holdem

Break even roller coaster night. Was stuck two racks before rebuying a second time. Went on a nice heater, then the game got short, so I picked up.

This is an estimate from my last semester in Butte Montana. I got pretty frustrated over the last 4 months which lead to some back pedaling in my game. Poker may be a game of averages, but I can now say I've experienced both lucrative and detrimental periods in my poker career. Thank god I'm back in Washington.

Stale Circumstances
I'm hanging up poker for the rest of 2008. I'm sick of the only card room in town, and there's really not much for options around here unless you want to drive at least 70 miles. I'm running bad, I'm playing horrible, and my mental game is so fucked up right now, I can go from the happiest guy in the room to tri-state killing spree in a flash. I don't know what's wrong right now, but I know continuing to play is making it worse. Maybe if I take a good break for awhile, I can regain my sanity. For all of you who know me and read this pointless bullshit, see you in January.
