$5/10 Texas Hold'em

This game was so awesome. I couldn't lose a hand and the other very aggresive players couldn't care less...I wish I could have stayed but I had to get the kiddies... I almost won another jackpot but that's another story and someone with a made hand folded on accident, or that's at least what he said?

December 25, 2007, 11PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $4.40 at Poker Stars
$4.40 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (101st out of 180 Players)

Tripled up early in the tournament and played okay. I also had a series of Ax hands hold up which helped put me in contention; however, the last hand of my tournament life gave me big slick. Action comes to me and I make a nice sized bet and get 2-3 callers, including a player that goes all-in. I know he has a pocket pair and because my A hands had been working throughout the tournament and I knew he didn't have a high pocket pair I made the call. To my suprise so did the other players so the pot was upwards of $10k with an average chip stack of $2k and chip lead of $6k so this was a no brainer...

I don't hit so the biotch with pocket 5s takes it down and I'm out.

$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 2 Players)

Took Jesse head's up after showing him some things I learned about his head's up game. Now, it's not within me to show someone their weaknesses, if you want to call it that because he has very little in that arena, I thought it for the best. Besides, we had some company and it wasn't fair!!! lol.

November 30, 2007, 12AM: Played 2 hours, Made $220.00 at Greyhound
$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Generally speaking I played well. All you need to do in this game is play like a rock with optimal hands and you'll get paid off. Suprisingly they aren't good enough to know that someone was only playing solid starting hands but that's another story. The funny thing regarding this session is that I only played two hands the whole time and managed to win them both(KK and JJ). I would have stayed longer but I went out with Tim and Mel for some food and drinks, which led to too many drinks for me to drive so I left.

November 29, 2007, 9AM:
By Invite Only

I'm looking to have an invite only $500 buy-in $5 entry, dealer's choice tournament at my house on New Year's Eve if anyone is interested? I'll provide all the food and drinks, establish the betting rounds and structure, etc. Play will be limited to two tables or 20 people maximum... The goal here is to get everyone sloppy ass drunk where the winner, assuming not everyone passes out, comes out the champion in the Bouvet Winter Classic. The Central Valley is perfectly located between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Bring a sleeping bag and a pillow as there's plenty of room.

$5 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

I tell you what, these regulars play like shit. Very aggresive for the most part and play nearly every hand but my reads on them are perfect. Essentially, you can play like a rock for an hour and then come out blasting and they'll still play into you, go figure??? Either way, they're a good group of people who enjoy giving their money away. I need help destroying this game as the ambiance and feeling that I'm always watching my back is of concern.

$100 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 2 Players)

Gave Mr. Deiyuo a lesson in humility as I have his number when it comes to heads-up action. lol. What can I say, pay backs are a bitch when he makes me the stiffest drinks I've had in years!!! Jesus I had 3 in the course of an hour or so and I was struggling to maintain myself...
