Ah yes...a night of drinking then playing cards.  But it was another special night, as I got that itch to gamble gamble.  I bought in for about 800 and started ramming every pot.  I think I have to do this every few months just to get it out of my system.  I actually had a blast, as I would cap everything pre flop in the dark, then come out firing on the flop.  Then I read my opponents, and if they seemed strong, I would look.  I sent a few people out the door talking to themselves....and the conversations over the next week are always fun.  Good times good times!

January 31, 2008, 6PM: Played 2 hours, Made $62.50 at Big Daddy's
$55 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 6 Players)

This was another team tournament.  Me and Kurtis just skated along and didn't do anything drastic till the final 3.  We actually made a couple of nice moves to win some pots with semi bluffs.
 
The slow play worked perfect for the last hand as we flopped a set and our oponenent made top pair on the turn.

January 29, 2008, 12AM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Made $724.00 at Chair Casino
$15/30 Omaha Hi-Lo

This game was too hard to pass up.  It was a full game and I watched it for about 40 hands.  These guys were just ramming and jamming.  I put my chips in with the best hand...raised according to ram and jam style..getting the most bang for my buck.  I was up a bit more than my win, but really needed to get to bed for my big move tomorrow.  I really need to keep an eye on this game, as it is relatively easy to book a win.  My bankroll still isn't quite big enough for this game, but I had a feeling after getting good reads off of so many players.  Took some beats and gave some beats.
 
I made some great moves, isolating certain people to take half the pot with minimal risk.  Good times tonight! Can't wait to play this game again...but bedtime for now!
