$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

well yesterday I had chalked up to being tired...today I think I was little eager to get back what I lost and got involved in a few pots I didn't have any business being in. I really don't think I played horrible, I just never drug a pot with any chips in it and I was calling a few bigger raises hoping to catch someone with a big hand not willing to let it go.  I had a couple hands with set flush draw vs a made straight and could find anything but bricks.  it's pretty frustrating to make money all week then have this happen in 2 sessions.  got a little bit left to try and comeback with. sigh again!

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

guess I knew this session was coming and at least I didn't tork it all off.  I wasn't pissed, I was just really tired and should've quit early which would've been good since I was up 60 for a while.  then the beats started coming.  AA vs. QQ flop A Q 3, turn Q.  2nd time that exact scenerio happened to me lately.  another hand that killed me was the old nut flush on the flop vs. straight flush, that one stung pretty bad.  then I took middle set vs. top 2 and he catches the 2 outer.  it was all bad.  at least there is still some money on here...sigh

actually a little bummed with this session as I was up another hundred or so, but ran into 2 pretty big hands that cost me...one I have TT77 and flop middle set...run into top set which the other person played well...bottom pair hit so I really couldn't fold, but kinda knew I was in trouble.  other one was just me flopping top set vs flush ramming maniac that gets there.

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

this is the session that could've been massive, but I ran bad in 2 key pots.  the first one, there is this donkey I have been watching and he cannot lay down AA, so I trapped him once with it when I flopped nut straight and he called me down.  later I have KK double suited I pot it to 2 bucks or something, he makes it 8, I call.  flop is K 8 9...there is another player as well...he pots it, I go all in he calls...he has AAQ7, drawing pretty dead and the other guy had 88 something so I am WAY ahead...the A spikes the turn and costs me like 120.  another pot I have the total wrap in...AKQ9 around J T 7 flop and I have 2 other people with big stacks get in there with me and it comes running 4 3 to brick me out.  I win those two and this is probably 300+.

thought I was jumping in for the long haul, but just didn't feel like playing when I started...pretty much one pot here where I preflop raised with something like KJJT double suited, I make a pot sized bet with a flush draw overpair to the 8 5 3 pot, a guy comes over me, so I peel one thinking he can't have much, I turn top set which is the nuts, we get all in on the turn, he had flopped top pair with a T high flush draw, so he just handed me his stack there...thanks buddy.

man this session was sick, I ran well in 2 ways, I hit a ton of sets and they stood up for me, but I also had a ton of plays against preflop raisers where it would come all connected in the middle and I was able to steal a ton of pots when scary boards hit and I wasn't afraid to try and shoplift the pot...SLB DEIYUO!

just tried to stay out of trouble but kept ending up in big pots regardless.  I flopped huge hands and actually got unlucky several times, including one lovely 2 outer with top 2 vs top bottom.  I did get back to even for the other session, and once I started to come off a little I thought it best to take a small loss for the day and work on some discipline even though I am no way tired or bored of playing.

man what a beating...just ran like shit in a couple pots and got myself into trouble a few others....the two like shit coolers both times I am WAY ahead...the first AA vs TT on the A T flop, I don't need to say happens here, but it was a 100+ pot.  the other was sicker as he shouldn't have been there, I flop bottom set vs. top pair, no other draw and I don't slow play it, guys makes top two on turn and we get all in with his 4 outer...bingo for him.  I win either of these I am fine.  the other pots I kept running into something I had been avoiding til this session which is set over set.  It happened about 4 times and finally started affecting my play as I became a little gun shy.  hopefully I can make this up next session, was a rough one.

January 3, 2008, 7AM: Played 3 hours, 28 minutes, Made $91.35 at full tilt
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

yet another up and down session..I sit down to my post with the following...A9 clubs 67 spades and call an extra buck to see a flop of K 8 5 with 2 clubs.  the preflop raiser pots it after I check and I decide to build one repop him, well he pots it right back...great KK, but I can't lay it down now so I call...turn J river T giving me the J high straight and a quick double up.  sadly I tube all that off when I have 7 10 to a 10 7 7 flop and run into 10 10, the 4 5 runners didn't give me anything I could really fold to and so I took a hit there giving it all back.  I was about to quit fifty down when I found the massive heat and was actually up another 50 from where I ended up, but I repotted with AA double suited once and had to lay it down and just generally missed while splashing some.  I was in a play a lot of hands mood which I normally play quite a few anyway, so adding to it really gets me into some trash. but I survived it with another win.  the really bad beat I took is that I found out my account isn't on the rakeback like I thought it was, so I checked that hoping for an extra 40 or 50 built up and got bubkiss, gotta switch that money over now...oh well.  I hate to be one of those goofy folks, but I kinda like the run I am on with that other name, what if full tilt doesn't like my alter ego so much?

$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

was a huge rollercoaster as usual...was up 100 early, then had this total maniac that I flopped top set on 3 times and 3 times he called me down to catch runner runner flush once and straight twice...but I finally got the best of him and busted him.  anyway, other than that donkey business as usual, been pretty happy with things lately as I took those beats and didn't go off shift or anything, just knew I could take the donkey down and I was patient and did so.
