$0.10 Pot-Limit Omaha

started the session like total shit, which kinda lead to me trying to get back quick.  had a couple hands I felt like I had to get in with and obviously lost when I got in with the best.  last 40 I moved up a couple limits hoping to get lucky, last hand I get all in with AA85 vs KKTT flop is T T x, not much can be done about that sort of running.

as my typical online cycle goes I have many small wins finally reaching a session where I can do no right and blow it all in a huge hurry.  been down this road at least 10 other times, very frustrating.

yay a big session! just pretty much had a couple donkeys willing to shove...the biggest pot was I have AKQJ and someone had AA66 double suited, flop is J J 9 with 2 of their suit, they pot flop I call, turn is a brick 4 I raise all in after they pot turn and dodge the outs for a 40 buck plus pot!

was a total rollercoaster, down 15 to start, up 30 in the middle, was dead even and about to log off to help wife, and flop top set vs. a wrap that he hits on the river after we had all of it but .70 in, was a frustrating hand and session, was also multiway pot with another all in that missed flush draw

got off to such a gross start, only had about 85 buck bankroll in this account right now so buy in 4 tables 20 each, within first ten minutes bust at 2, one was the type of pot that is kinda slowly min raised so you are priced into every call, the other one was a lovely sick hand..I have AKJJ double suited so I pot it from the big blind and get 3 callers, the flop is J 9 5 with 2 of my nut suit so I am pretty much loving life and I fire at it hoping someone else flopped a piece and will put me on aces, I get raised and I repop putting us in, the guy has Q 10 9 5 for the bottom 2 open ender which is good as gold after the 8 turns and I can't hit either draw.  so after a few more beatings I am down to about 30 bucks left and manage to keep one table going and run it up to about 60 which I was ok with but then I see this table at .10/.25 that is averaging like 15 bucks a pot so I check it out, there are two crazy donkeys ramming so I figure go big or go home.  make nut flush first hand I sit down to for a decent pot, then flop middle set vs. top two and double up.  then I wake up with a nice double suited hand and flop the 2nd nut full with it and check into the donkey who never misses a bet and end up getting all the way back and winner for the night.

$0.10 Pot-Limit Omaha

was up another 15 but kinda donked off toward the end.  was a battle at the beginning was between even and stuck 20 for a couple hours, then I finally got ahead with a sick hand, I have AA35 with one nut suit, it's raised pre and I limp another guy repots it and the original raiser calls, I come over the top hoping to take down the couple dead bucks but the 2nd raiser calls. flop is 10 5 2 rainbow which I figure is safe enough so I pot it and get insta raised, most of his money was my bet so i called hoping not to see the 10 10 Q A he rolled over, turn 8 and the river the miracle 4 for the wheel.  I usually don't hit the sick ones seems like so it was kinda fun for once.

got off to a sickly bad start, was down about 30 bucks, but stuck with it.  the thing I seem to be pretty good at is calling a preflop raise and letting the moron with aces or whatever big hand continue to ram it when I have him beat.  I do dance into some trouble but it's working thus far.

had two lovely hands this session and still came out winner...first was my usual, flop top set 10 9 3, turn 3, as per jesse's advice I play it hard after bet into, he of course has a couple case 3's for me.  2nd one is a real peach, I wake up with one of my favorite type hands... 89 spades 10 J hearts and min raise it under the gun, get a couple callers, flop is 5 6 7 with two spades, guy pots it, I min raise it, he comes over the top, he is basically all in so I type in as I raise that i am probably freerolling him, he shows A 2 diamonds and 3 4 spades for open ended str. flush draw, needless to say I am pretty bitter about the 2 of spades on that river.

obviously I had a few good hands to have a winning session with those two that both cost me the maximum, probably end up winning another 20 or so if those hands don't work out like they did.  that set over set is my nemesis on full tilt.

May 17, 2009, 8PM:
set over set online

do any of you folks run into flopping set over set only to have the one outer ruin you.  this happens to me VERY frequently.  it's kind of annoying because it's the type of hand that forces you to lose money.  I am actually not betting top full like I did in the past as I have gotten gunshy.

had almost all the previous win back, was like a dollar short, told the wife let's head for a walk and tubed it all back in about 5 minutes, was fairly disappointing.
