to get back on or not

well I feel like I should think about posting again on here some.  I had almost torked off my entire bankroll the last time I logged on here, but I quit with 83 bucks left, I had a bonus that paid me 400 more and all that got me restarted.  I started reading a ton on 2 plus 2 and started using hold em manager (well omaha manager, but same difference).  I am now up well over 2 grand since last I was on here.  My whole idea of the game has changed and I am hoping to get into some decent chat about poker, specifically omaha if anyone is interested.  hope all is well for everyone who reads this site, it's a good site, maybe we can kick start it back up!

good bye everyone and good luck, just absolutely not business playing, lot of stress and tired, proved I just can't handle playing sooner or later the massive tork off is coming.

got stuck about 75 right off the bat, then fought back to about 30 down and would just run right into a rough pot, flop wrap vs. top set and flush draw, turn the nuts and can't dodge for example.  just one of those sessions where I get it in and can't stand up.

December 20, 2010, 12AM: Played 40 minutes at full tilt rush

was a decent session, but got stuck 30 right away, I have AAJ8 on the button and 3 bet a previous raise, get two callers, flop is 8 8 Q, check to me, I decide to just take it down now and bet it, get shoved on by 8 6 5 4 and watch him find the 5 right on the turn.  After that got in a couple hands where I was just gifted a 10 bucks, one I have JJ on J 7 2 flop and guy check raises me with Q J 10 9, he didn't find the 8 on that one.  Was trying to be much aggressive and raising everytime I was first one in the pot, especially late and it really seems to be helping me take down some smaller pots.  I am varying my raising hands a great deal and I find that helps me as well, when it's all big I usually take it down, when it's smaller or middle I get check raised and have the goods and can ship it and frequently get a lay down or a bad call (like 8 6 5 4).

frustrating session, just was one card away from huge pots repeatedly, one I have AA in 3 way action, end up mostly in preflop, comes 7 4 2, one guy has AKK8 other has Q J 10 9 and it comes running 9 Q to cost me over 60.  finally hit a monster pot to get little winner and quit, very lucky for me, I have AAJ5 and limp under the gun, it's raised by button and one blind 3 bets it, I 4 bet to 11, button calls, blind has about 4 more and is all in, flop is K 4 2, I have about 10 left so not going anywhere, button insta calls with the K J 10 2 monster, blind has AA double suited, I somehow find the 3 on the turn for the wheel and stand up to get a little winner.

man, just could not get over the hump for most of the session, was never stuck more than about 15, then would get near even but never got winner til the last hand.  was just annoying beats, had AA in blind on 2 2 9 rainbow flop, I am calling a guy ramming it, on the river it comes Q and of course I get showed QQ.  Finally hit a monster, I have AJ108 with nut clubs and get the unreal 9 8 7 two club flop, I lead at it and get a caller, turn is the K of clubs, I decide to pot it as I was heads up against a very aggressive ramming donkey, and the fool min raises me.  I decide to just jam it because it seems like I cost my self money going for the cute play and I can't do a thing when the river pairs.  Anyway, I pot it to 21 and I get rammed in for the rest and get shown the Q high flush drawing dead to get me winner.

got stuck about 30 early on in this session, I was on a hole card heater and just could not hit a flop, finally hit a couple monster flops, one I have AA nut clubs and flop A J 7 with the J 7 of clubs, bet 6 into 9 and get a caller, but he folded the brick turn.  Finally get winner with AA in bb and check to 4 way action.  Flop is A 5 6 rainbow, I check it, one guy pots and another guy repots back to me, I 3 pot it for about 12 bucks and get both to call, turn is a 2.  I assume there are wraps and such but if that's the one they have I guess I good hand, I push my last 16 in at the table and get one caller with 5678, I dodge his open ender and immediately quit with a decent win.  Was playing much more aggressive preflop tonight.  If I was first into the pot I raised almost every time.  I really think limping oftentimes is a major leak for me as I end up in big pots that I could've avoided by just taking it down preflop.  Will see how this works.

like the win, but god I took another couple of hideous beats, the one that kills me, ends up 60 buck pot, I have 9 8 8 6, and call a raise out of position, flop is sick for me A 8 7, I decide to see if AA is out there and lead at it just get called, turn is a brick wheel card, I pot and get raised, well if you have AA well played, he rolls over A J 9 8, top two gutshot...6 outer, of course the 10 peels right off for the clown.  Had another similar one where I have top 2 vs. a preflop raiser who has top one and open ender, can't ram it in fast enough on me and finds the 8 outer, so this certainly had potential to be much better.  I have been trying to be a bit more aggressive, especially preflop and in position.  I am on a couple sites reading quite a bit and I think my image is pretty nitty and I really want to get a little more action going.  I feel like the people I play a ton of hands with likely think I am an open book.

$4 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (62nd out of 280 Players)

never had a ton of chips, last hand I could've got away from, I have about 5k with 150 300 blinds, I make it 900 with 99 in middle position and get a late caller, flop is J 7 3 with 2 spades and I bet 1500 at it he insta shoves on me.  I have 2400 in, would have 2850 left I think it was, I am trying to put him on a J and I guess it's more likely a spade draw, but he played QQ very well and busted me.

took two beats vs. same player for over 50 buck pots, first one I have AAxx he has K865 and 3 bets me, I 4 bet to over 11 and he calls, flop is 10 7 6, which hurts pretty bad, turn is 10 taking a lot of his outs but he finds the 4.  other one he raises from sb, I have Q J 10 9 and flop is K J 9 with two spades, I raise him and he pots over me, get it in and he shows K987 with 9 high spade draw and rivers the flush on me.  I manage to grind back to even 10 bucks at a time after being stuck right around 50 and finally get small winner and call it a session.
