April 22, 2008, 8PM: Played 1 hour at Limelight Sac
$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

This was a really weak game so I decided to be patient and pick my spot which came when I flopped 2 pair and top pair calls me the whole time. He catches another K on the river and my hand no good anymore.

I knew I should not have played and was not feeling really well was tired and on my way home and just wanted to chill for an hour or so before the drive. I really should listen to myself when I feel this way so my chill hour cost me 200

$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Only played for an hour while on shift and was able to pick up about 320. Call check folded for a bit was down to about 240 then I get 66, guy UTG raises to 6 I call gets reraised to 17 I call most of the table did too and flop comes 86J with 2 hearts. One guy leads out for 35 another calls get to me and I say "I can't fuck around with this hand I am all in" everyone folds to the guy who made it 35 he goes all in for another 5o or so and the gal behind him calls my 225 all in. I am praying no Heart I put them both on draws, no heart comes and I scoop......... gotta love a 300 an hour wage lol...............back to work

April 1, 2008, 5PM: Played 2 hours
$55 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (5th out of 20 Players)

I played so well tonight made some great reads some great bluffs and got luck with some huge hand when others had second best. I built up a big chip lead early played aggressive and went to the final table 2nd in chips. then this hand happens

I am in the SB with QQ blinds are 200/400 and we are 30 seconds away from our first break. We are 6 handed and UTG calls 400 next guy raises to 800 I of course go all in. I really believed if he had a better hand he would have gone all in or raised more. I believe he wants to see a flop but for cheap.

Anyway everyone else folds and pre flop raiser calls. Rolls over 78S against my QQ.

Yippee I am ready to bust him out and take his chippies.

Flop 3 J Q (1 spade, you now can see where this is going)
Turn 10S
River don't even remember the number but of course it is a spade and he beats my set with and 8 high flush.

I really could only laugh at this point because I will take that call everyday especially with that flop.

Take our break come back short stacked and pick up AK UTG. blinds are now 500/1000 and It is either this hand or my BB
So I roll with AK and get called by 99 no A or K and I am toast.

I guess I cant win em 2 nights in a row and I have to share lol

March 17, 2008, 7PM: Played 30 minutes at Grand Sierra Resort Reno
$230 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (90th out of 100 Players)

Wow this was a wild ride for 30 minutes 3 people at my table were knocked out early on. It was very weird play people limping with AA and KK in the same hand then others calling raises with k2 off. Anyway, I pick up 66 raise to 150 in MP (blinds 25/50) one guy smooth calls flop is Q high I chek he bets 100 I decided to peel on off thinking he may be on a flush draw. 8 on the turn check check I catch my 6 on the river and we both end up all in he has QQ for top set. I should have check raised the flop and see where I was at my mistake....
