Took a crucial beat late that crippled me.  Flopped trips and a guy turned a straight to lose.  Solid play and another "close" finish.  Having trouble getting over the hump today.

Blinds escalating pushed with 88, ran into AA and QQ At least AA held up and order was restored to the universe.
 
So ends my attempt at playing NLH tourneys again.  I feel better about my playing today.  The luck factor in NLH, eapecially large field tourneys, is high.  I felt I made good plays and put my money in with the best of it most of the time.  I avoided most of the mistakes that cost me tourneys before.  If I continue to play this way, I should be OK, but I don't know if I want to stomach the swings in NLH.
 
I enjoy playing PLO, but there are just not a lot of large field tourneys online.  I just need to keep working on my NLH game if I want to play tourney poker online, or stick to PLO Sit n Go's or the limited tourneys offered.

Played well. Aggressive but smart.  Was short for the first 2 hours then made a hand hold and moved up the list. Made a great play on my last hand that went to shit. I have AK in the bb.  Big stack aggro raises and the other big stack in the sb calls so I shove.  They both call and both turn over AQ.  I am loving it until they both hit the Q on the flop.  Damn 2 outers.
