PL HA
Played a lot of hands early and had to dig myself out of holes many times. Was near the bottom of the chip count most of the tourney, but decided to hang tough and see if I could make the final table.
Once at the final table I waited and picked off a few pots. then 2 hands in a row took me from 7th in chips to first. Both in PLO, both AAxx. The first as I am short I get a raise in front of me and decide to push with AAQx ds the guy cals with AKJx and I hold. Very next hand the same guy raises and I just call with AAxx. Get a caller behind and flop Axx two spades. I get all in again and hold. From there I was ever really challenged. I got lucky with the games as we played a lot of PLO 3 handed, where I had a distinct advantage over the other two. Switched to NLH heads-up, but I held a 4 to 1 chip lead and it was over rather quickly when he picked up AT and I had AJ.
I played a lot of hands this tourney and wasn't afraid to make some pre-flop calls of raises. I think I have been too tight pre-flop, especially getting into raised pots when I have position. I need to be willing to put some chips in pre and see what comes. The more I think about it, it applies to almost every game, level, or structure I play. I will try to work on this when I get back from my weekend break.

Done for a bit. I am going away this weekend so I won't even be tempted to play.

I think I need to lay off for a bit, or just go back to low limit PLO live. I have gotten too reckless with tourneys and am lacking focus.
