$1 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Second time to venture to the $1/$2 no limit table.  Second time to get my ass waxed quickly.  In my defense I did take a bad beat a time or two.  I clearly must stay at the limit tables.  Maybe when I grow up and can play at the "big boy" tables.  Arrgghhhh!!!!

June 19, 2006, 6PM: Played 6 hours, Made $107.00 at Choctaw Bingo
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Was at a very aggressive table.  Betting was capped pre-flop many times during the night.  It seems that it became addictive (and funny) for people to raise and re-raise just based on the atmosphere at the table and not neccesarily based on the cards.  It was pretty frustrating when I had a mediocre hand and wanted to limp to the flop.

Went in with $50 and swore to myself to leave when I doubled my money.  It was hard to leave.

Again I was up by about $150 and played for hours without getting any good cards and threw away most of my profit.  I have GOT to learn to quit or take a break when I get on a "no-card getting streak."

Was up by over $200 at one point but hit a MAJOR dead streak and didn't get any cards for hours and pissed away all but $61 of my profit.  I need to learn to quit when I am up by quite a bit.

Was doing good at the casion with 3/6 limit, so I thought I would try my hand at 1/2 no limit (which is the most popular game at the casion).  Lost my bloody ass in no time flat.  Obviously I am not ready for the no-limit cash game.
