February 14, 2008, 9PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $200.00 at Club Gravity
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Sat down bought $200, was a pretty gross night. I had a/k suited 3times and a/q didnt hit on any of them in the first hour.

I have pocket aces i raise to $16 total the guy to the left to me calls, this guy who knows how I play comes over the top and has been talking how tight I am the whole nite he makes it $44 more. I shove for another $100 I get the I know I'm beat speech but I call he shows Jacks? What do you know flop comes j/10/q.. blanks on the turn and river for me. Knew it was a bad night then just called it quits.

February 13, 2008, 10PM: Played 4 hours, Made $115.00 at Italian Club
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

I came into the Italian Club had to wait about 20 minutes they started a new table. Only 2 tables there tonight since apparently its never going to to stop snowing here in Pittsburgh.

Sat down at my table which I didn't even like, my buddy Rocket was to the left of me who plays poker for a living plays 5/10, 10/20, 2/5.. the 2/5 game got canceled so he sat and played 1/2. My other buddy Shawn sat to the left of him and hes a pretty solid player to and the rest of the table is mixed with tight players and one extremely bad player. I bought in for $200.

This night was a grind and a half. I had no hands or hit nothing besides one hand thats worth talking about.

I'm in the BB, theres a straddle to $4 3 people call the straddle I look down at 6/7 off I put another $2 to complete. Flop comes Qd/6d/6s. SB checks on me now I bet out $13, my buddy Shawn min re raises me $13 more which makes me think then it goes call, call and now it's on me. Me and Shawn know how each other play I'm thinking he has diamonds or top pair and made the min re-raise just to see where I'm at. The right play is to come back over the top but I elected to just to call and if adiamond doesn't peel off I'm jamming the turn. 8 of spades peels off the turn I bet out $60 mistake number 2 by me I should've bet more, Shawn Folds the other guy cfolds and the SB calls the rest of his $60 off with top pair. I scoop the pot ship it!

February 11, 2008, 11PM: Played 1 hour, Made $145.00 at Club Gravity
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

This place has a $1000 freeroll every Monday and Thursday plus cash games a little after the tournament starts. I just went all in blind on the freeroll and I got knocked out 2 hands in I really didn't care it was free. My buddy Steve who writes on here bust soon after and we got Primantis(restuarant close by) and then I came back.

I got in the mood where I didn't even want to play, my friend kept bugging me to play so I bought $150 and sat down and only playing for an hour.

Theres about 4 limpers, I'm on the button with q/9 off I call SB complete BB checks. Flop comes Qs/As/Qd.. My friend is first to act he bets $7 BB makes it $15.. folds to me I have no idea what either have I make re raise another 50 more.. my friend goes all in for another $43 BB folds I call he has q/5.. my kicker plays at the end.. I scopp the pot he should've never asked me to play ha!

February 10, 2008, 7PM: Played 3 hours, Made $412.00 at Logans Ferry Firehall
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

I had an interesting drive there, the firehall I usually attend to every other sunday moved to a new place and of course I got lost trying to find it but eventually found my way.

Two tables were going on when I walked in, average chip stack looked below $150, just bought in for that.

My stack was quickly down to a $100 again after losing with A/K, Javks, and A/10. I picked up Kings in 2nd position I make it $13 to go. Two people call flop comes q/j/6 rainbow. I bet out $25(and planning onto jamming the turn) they both call! Turn comes a 8 I Jam all in for $64 the guy after me beats me in the pot other guy folds. I flip over kings and he shows k/q.. hand holds on the river we both had similiair stack sizes.

After my double up win a couple pots here and there my stack is like 300 and change. I'm on the button theres about 5 limpers, I have pocket 8's I just call small pocket pairs I'd prefer just to call and not get in big trouble with these hands.  Flop comes k/10/8 rainbow. Guy UTG bets out $5 it goes call, call, call, on me I make it $15 to go i made it that cause I want everybody to call and the board really isn't that scary some straight possibilities. Turn is a 5 of spades now with a flush draw out there, guy UTG checks the guy after him comes out with $40 which really made no sense to me folds to me. I think about the hand now I know the guy and how he plays, hes a tight player but can get really stupid with me. A set of kings or tens are out of a question here he would've raised pre flop or re raised the flop. I'm thinking he picked a flush draw up on the turn and got crazy with it or hit 2 pair. So I came to the conclusion I'm making it 200 total here I don't want the flush draw hit here and if he does have 2 pair I'm taking all of his chips as long as the river is safe if he calls, he thinks about it for awhile hes talking hard to fold the nut draw here but I have to.

Won a couple other small pot really not worth talking about. Game breaks a little after 10 and I get to go home and watch Pulp Fiction saweeet

February 10, 2008, 1AM: Played 4 hours, Made $130.00 at Vandergrift Firehall
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

Well theres not a whole lot to say about this nite.. walked in about 1:30 in the morning bought in for about $150 little below the average chip stack size.

My stack is about $120 called a couple hands didn't catch anything.. 5th positon I have Kd/Qc I make it $10 to go folds around to the SB he calls and the BB calls... flop comes Js/9s/6d.. both blinds check I should bet out here I think but I didn't.. turn is 10d.. so i made the nut straight.. SB bets $20, BB calls, it's on me I came to the conclusion really quick I was jamming all in here so I shoved.. SB calls, BB folds.. SB shows 8s/7s the bottom straight plus a spade draw, hand holds on the river.

Other then that just got blinded away basically.. pretty dull night not to much to say.

February 8, 2008, 12AM: Played 4 hours, Made $260.00 at Oklahoma Firehall
$1/2 Texas Hold'em

I used to write all the time on here, then I didn't have the time and also was too tired half the time to do it. I deleted all my entries starting off fresh.

I came into the firehall a little after 12 in the morning after seeing Fools Gold at the movies which I reconmend don't see unless a girl forces you to go which happend to me. Two cash games were going on at the time, the super aggro table(where all the action was) all the seats were taken so I got stuck at the sandbox game(really tight players). Average chip stack was $150-200, I bought in for $150.

The game was pretty boring, no action at all. One kid I've never seen before was at my table and I play this week usually every week. I make it $8 to go pre-flop with ah/js, the kid is on the button just calls, flop comes Ac/7c/2h.. I bet about the pot which was $20, he min re raises me another $20 which I think the min re raise is one of the stupidest plays in poker unless your trying to get paid off on the river. So I think about it I also saw he only has 20 left so if I call his min re raise I might as well put him all in cause I have to call his turn bet if he does. I put him all in he calls shows Ad/Qd turn and river are both blanks for me I lost about $70 on the hand nice flat call on the button with that then the table tells me he plays really tight, awesome thanks for telling me now! ha

My stack was down to $70 gradually worked it backed to a $100 then we combined tables after some players left.

I only brought $200 to the game usually I'd bring more but I didn't tonight and the stacks did not favor me at all. There was stacks of $800, $1000, $600, $500 good for me ey I have $100 plus the table was super aggro was $20 to go pre-flop every hand.

The first hand I raised I had Ah/Kh I maade it to $24 to go there was also a straddle on the hand. 2 people call flop comes j//j/9 rainbow. I'm first to act now my image at this game usually is when I bet I got it, I got a tight image so I use that to my advantage. I'm first to act I bet out $30 which can be viewed as a bad bet cause with that bet half my stack is already in the pot but I'm hoping my image pays off here, one guy thought for a while and put me on A/J other guy folded instantly.

Next hand I'm in the BB with 9/3 of spades 3 limpers including the SB. Flop comes 9h/3h/5d.. I bet out 10 bones folds around to the SB this guy calls me everyday and twice on sunday always just wants to beat me. Turn is a Jh.. He bets out $20 he's super aggro and I usually have a good read on him and I know how he plays. I thought about it I knew he didn't have a flush cause he would've betted out on the flop. So i put him maybe hitting a Jack I elect to just call to let him bet on the river again.. river comes a complete blank he bets out $30 he's playing this whole hand weird for him. I just call he shows a pair of 5's? i scopp the pot.. couple hands later I take down a $150 off him with A/K again he busts and goes him

Table breaks and I go for some Mcdonalds breakfast 4 in the morning
