$200 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (90th out of 605 Players)

I enjoyed playing this tournament. I had fewer than 5 showdowns all day and most of my chips were purchased. It felt good to be able to amass some chips without getting nut hands or strong hands.

I played calm poker today. calculated. I used pot-odds with 5 players left to my advantage. We split 3 ways, pay out was 243, 30 went to the dealers.

there was quite a wait to get into this game, which made me a tad impatient once I made it in. Also, there were a ton of chips on the table and within an hour we were getting shorthanded. Oh, and I played poorly.

ugh... this was an ugly session. the pots that I won were quickly put back into the game from losses on being caught up on. All up onz. I was slow rolled once and it hurt because the pot was so big. 8h 2h slow rolls you on a big pot and you get your feelings hurt, or at least, I do. Anyway, I won a high hand for $100 which saved the session for me. If this is just pure poker money, I lost $38.

March 24, 2006, 3PM: Played 2 hours, Made $440.00 at Big Daddy's

2 promotions going: High hand (Full house or better to qualify) every hour gets $100; Monte Carlo board with quad 2's through royal flush getting paid anywhere from $60 to $1945. I had a terrible session of poker. I went through $160 before I dragged my first pot. I pulled in a small one for my second and for my third pot I had quad 8's. The 8's paid $596 and I got the $100 for the high hand. I tipped out $115 and cashed out the rest of my money.
