June 1, 2007, 9PM: Played 3 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $180.00 at Venitian - Las Vegas
$200 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (25th out of 109 Players)

Really upset on the result of this tournament.  After not having a groove at the WSOP, I found it here.  I had a beer or two and was completly relaxed and in the Jimmy Tournament Groove.  I battle back from being all in 3 times.  Played Excellent, until some donk ruined it for me.

I was a short stack most of the tournament, till I was able to double up with J3o.  Im in late position and attack the blinds with it.  The sb (table chip leader) calls.  Flop came J high.  He checks, I bet, he doubles my bet, and I come over the top for all of them, hoping to push him off his draw.  He reluctantly calls, I say nice hand as I think if he calls im beat.  Nope, he slow played AK and missed.

A few hands later I pick up KK and snag some preflop raising bets, not giving me a really nice stack.

After the break, I have AdKd in middle position (blinds 4-8).  UTG raises it to 2K, I come over the top at 4.2K, every one mucks, before he calls he asked to take a peek at my stack.  Then he calls.  Flop come KcJd4h.  He goes all in.  I not even thinking call as I feel I had him dominated.  The donk rolled over QsTs.

Turn comes the 9s, making me drawing completly dead.  I am left with about 1500.
