February 12, 2008, 11PM: Made $5.31 at Full Tilt
$2 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (10th out of 229 Players)

Blew it.  28k with 600-1200 blinds.  I am in 5th of 10.  Button has bout same as me and raises to 4500 (strangely big but I didn't really know what to make of it) I have JJ in the BB.  Now with the size of his raise i was afraid to raise to like 12k and put nearly half my stack in so I just called (mistake).  Flop is T95 and I check to let him C-bet, he does, I shove, he calls with T9 and thats that.  If i reraise I know he is folding and I have 34k and am in 3rd with 10 to go.  Super Ultra Disapointed.

I personally like shoving when he raises big like that. I like to do this shove here when I think the player is stealing as well. He has a lot of fold equity and if he does call, it's very likely you are coin flipping for a huge stack. I prefer this play just because of the positives of having a huge stack if he calls and taking down a decent pot even if he folds.
