Your odds post flop with Q8 vs AA and the flop of Q84 is
Post Flop Odds

You may forget the guy can hit any Ace(2 cards) plus any 4(3 cards) or any running two board pairs ( K then K or 2 then 2, 4 out of 4/45 then 3/44)

So it may look like he only has the two aces to hit but really he has more outs.

Another note, you should zip your hand histories and upload your whole session.  I and I'm sure others wouldn't mind looking at and anylazing your overall play.  This could help fill leaks in your play you may not be aware of.  Also, exposing your play to the OPL community, let alone straglers that come across the site, tends to keep you on "good bahavior".

Also, like mentined before, Q8s UTG is longer term -ev.

I feel your pain with the loss as you outflopped AA and trappd him but you should look at the big picture of starting hands and position.

Yeah, I've been playing a lot of the .05/.10 NL 6-handed games on Full Tilt and I definitely recommend you try the 6-handed games. However, you still need to tighten up. Even in a 6-handed game, Q8s under the gun isn't strong. It's not a terrible hand on the button to raise with if it gets folded to you, but you really cannot be limpling in pots with those kinds of hands.

My recommendation is to play the 6-handed games, play reasonably tight, and try not to ever call preflop. Try only raising. This will not only tighten your range, but help make your play more aggressive. And when you do hit your flops, bet the whole way. 9 times out of 10 there will be some idiot just calling you down the whole way with bottom pair. Good luck!

Tough beat, but you did play Q8 under the gun which is just asking for trouble.
